At Southside Clinic we have helped over 10,000 patients get back to living a healthier, pain free lifestyle.
Southside Clinic (originally Southside Osteopathy) was established in January 2008 when Dr Andrea Robertson (Osteopath) started working as a sole-practitioner, renting a single room in a multidisciplinary clinic in Wayville. Her practice quickly grew and in late 2008, the clinic moved into its first stand-alone location on Unley Road.
From early 2010 until late 2012, Southside Osteopathy also had a second clinic location in Glenelg and in late 2012 the two clinics were consolidated, with the practice expanding into the space beside the Unley Road clinic, doubling its size.
In November 2015, the practice had once again outgrown its premises and was moved to its current Hughes Street location into a purpose-built facility. The new clinic allowed us to combine the locations of both our allied health practice with our sister business The Barre Clinic. The final change was launching our new name ‘Southside Clinic’, to reflect our new multidisciplinary team.
Southside Clinic is now one of Adelaide’s largest allied health clinics, offering not just Osteopathy but also Physiotherapy, Massage, Clinical Pilates, Nutrition & Naturopathy, Psychology, Hypnotherapy and group fitness classes through our sister business The Barre Clinic.
We are incredibly lucky to have such a large, experienced team of health professionals under one roof and we always strive to take full advantage of the wide variety of skilled clinicians working within our clinic. We love to refer or co-manage patients within our team, and encourage our practitioners to work with other team members with different skills or knowledge who may be able to suggest supplementary treatment options to provide quicker and longer lasting relief of symptoms. This means that you as a patient have the skills and knowledge of our entire practice working together to find the best treatment options for you.
