HeadStart Occupational Therapy now has availability in the Moreton Bay region for children aged 2-12!

Occupational therapists can support children across many areas of development including self-care skills (inc. toileting), feeding, sleep, emotional regulation and challenging behaviours, fine motor skills, and sensory processing to name a few!
We are a mobile therapy service working with self-managed and plan managed NDIS participants and private clients.

Hello and welcome to HeadStart Occupational Therapy!

My name is Mikaela and I am an occupational therapist working with the paediatric population providing mobile occupational therapy services to the Moreton Bay, and Somerset regions. My passion for occupational therapy is found in developing independence and being witness to those special moments when our little ones master a skill they were once unable to do.

I have been practicing as an occupational therapist for over 5 years across both the public and private sectors (within NDIS) to support children and their families to achieve their goals. I have special interests in feeding/mealtimes, social-emotional skill development, and developing functional skills for daily living.

Alongside being an occupational therapist, I am also a proud mum to two children, one 6 years old, and our youngest 2.5 years. We often spend our spare time camping, going to the beach, or catching up with our friends and family.

I am currently accepting self and plan managed NDIS clients and would love to hear from you!
