Its HICAPS day!! Over the last month, I've been working to improve some of the systems behind the scenes at UFO. Improved opening hours, online booking and finally today, HICAPS has come through. Patients can process medicare claims, although it'll be another week till private health rebates are available on the spot. Feeling happy :)

Hooray! The first month of U.F.O. Has flown by (see what I did there)....thanks for everyone's patience with the inevitable startup glitches. Thankfully my parenting partner has finished up his paid work and the pace has slowed considerably, leaving time for business admin (and the odd cuppa). We now have automated appointment reminders and business cards are in the mail. Stay tuned ..... Meanwhile, in the garden, something very exciting has happened. Our chooks started laying! The eggs are delicious, but not quite as beautiful as these eggs gifted to me by a patient the other day. Love our community. Can't wait till our coloured layers get going😍

What a start! The past couple of weeks have been fully booked, which have been lovely, if not a little hectic. There was still time for our first suburban farm harvest though. Reassuring to know that whatever 2018 brings,, there will be pumpkins. Lots of pumpkins. Anyone got any good recipes??
