Another perfect start to the weekend with 72 people running or walking our course today. 🤗

Welcome to our many many visitors from far and wide as well as some new local faces too - please feel free to come back and run with us again anytime 😄

The slightly cooler temp this morning led to a STACK of new PB times - massive congrats go to: Oli Philip, Zoe Bristow, Charlie Watts, Raider Homes, Jemma Larson, Nathan Ferris, Benjamin Stride, Darlene Lean, Marije Kleverlaan, Allison Ferris, Sandy Townley, Melinda Weingert & Amber McCormick 👏🎉

As always, we could not do it without our amazing vollie team - THANK YOU to Oliver Ferguson, Melissa Nolan, John Philip, Amy Miller, Ian Martin & Julie Martin 🙏🤩 And thank you to those who have put their hands up to vollie in the next couple of weeks - we appreciate you all so much !

99 feels like an appropriate number for our Easter parkrun. Lots of kids enjoying some early Easter eggs (thanks Mili 🙂) and many more enjoying the view and cooler temperatures. Vollie board is full for next week! Thanks to this week's volunteers and those that stepped up for next week.

The yummiest parkrun of the year is only 4 days away 🐣🐰😋

Our resident easter bunny is ahead of schedule and has already dropped some delicious goodies to our vollie crew for this week - it would be such a shame for them to go to waste or to end up back in the Heaney household 😆😆

🏃‍♀️ Meet Lara — your Fun Run Section Manager!

Lara Cu***ng is heading up the Bellingen Show Fun Run this year, and she brings serious credentials: she runs, she competes in the adult colouring competition (third place last year, thank you very much 🎨), AND she's out to redeem herself in the Partner Carry after being dropped on the final turn 😂

The Fun Run kicks off on Sunday 10 May with start times at 7am and 7:30am — and there's something for everyone.

The 10km winds through rolling countryside with killer hills and mountain views.
The 3km is perfect for walkers, beginners, and seasoned runners alike (yes, adults too — it's not just for kids!).

Both finish with a sprint into the Showground, and the atmosphere is something else.

Lara says it best: "The Fun Run has some challenging hills — so start training now!"
