You know that 3pm feeling…

Low on energy.
Kids still going.
And you’re wondering how you’re going to get through the rest of the day 😅

This was me earlier.

And instead of pushing through…

I gave myself 60 seconds.

Movement.
Breath.
Reset.

Not to calm down…
but to lift my energy back up.

Because sometimes it’s not rest we need…

it’s a quick circuit breaker for the body.

Try it.

Move your body.
Breathe deeper.
Let the energy shift.

It worked for me… and I went back in feeling like a different human 😏

Week 2 of school holidays…

and this happened 🥹

Training wheels are officially gone!!!

Proud mum moment right here.

Watching him trust himself, find his balance, and just go for it…

it hit me.

How often do we hold onto our own “training wheels” a little longer than we need to?

The things that feel safe… familiar… comfortable…

Even when we’re ready for more.

Today it was him riding off…

And me standing there thinking…
maybe it’s time to let go of a few things too 🤍

One of the biggest shifts for me…

Was realising I didn’t have to live in constant rush and overwhelm.

That there was another way.

A way to support others…
while also creating a life that supported me.

A way to do meaningful work…
without burning out.

And no, it didn’t happen overnight.

It came from learning how to work with my mind, my energy, and my nervous system…
instead of constantly pushing through.

Now, even in busy seasons (like school holidays)…
there’s more space.
More flexibility.
More awareness in how I move through my day.

And right now, I’m in a season of expansion…
with something new being gently brought to life behind the scenes with the beautiful Belen Mendez ☕️🤍

Not just physically…
but mentally too.

More noise.
More needs.
More moments where you feel pulled in every direction.

And while we can’t always control the environment…

We can support ourselves within it.

Sometimes it’s not about escaping the chaos.

It’s about creating a small moment of calm inside it.

A pause.
A breath.
A reset.

Because how you support your nervous system in these moments… matters.

School holidays look different when your life supports you.

Slower mornings.
Less rushing.
More presence.

And I don’t say that because life is perfect…
it’s still busy, still full - especially with kids home.

But what I’ve created gives me flexibility.

The ability to move my day.
To be present when it matters.
To support others… without burning myself out.

And that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Because it hasn’t always looked like this.

There are ways to create a life that supports you - not drains you.

Is that change doesn’t come from intensity alone.

It comes from consistency.

Not from big moments…
but from small daily choices.

The way you speak to yourself.
The way you respond instead of react.
The moments you choose to pause…
and the moments you choose to lean in.

Sometimes self alignment isn’t soft…
sometimes it asks us to move through discomfort.

And that’s where real change happens.

Not just in the retreat…
but in what comes after.

The small changes.
The deeper awareness.
The way you now choose to move through your day.

This week, I had the privilege of holding space within a beautiful retreat environment centred around self alignment.

Stepping away from the noise of daily life…
Slowing things down…
Creating space for people to reconnect with themselves again.

What stood out most were the shifts that happened across the week.

Some arrived carrying deep physical pain…
and left feeling lighter, moving more freely.

Others walked away with new daily habits of self-care — ways to nourish and nurture not only their physical bodies, but their mental and emotional wellbeing too.

Nothing was forced.
Just space, support, and the opportunity to realign.

We also shared moments of joy — getting dressed up and dancing together on our final night, celebrating the journey.

These retreats are about so much more than time away.

They are about rest and reset…
learning and healing…
growth, connection, and coming back to self.

And it’s always an honour to hold that space.

And underneath it all… there they are.

Today, holding space at the Heal Connect retreat, I was reminded again that so many people don’t need more effort.

They need space.
Safety.
A moment to simply be.

It’s in those moments that something begins to shift.

Gently. Naturally.

And it’s always an honour to witness that.
