We’re thrilled to welcome Southwest Parenting to our College in Term 3 to run their free 6-session “Tuning in to Kids” workshop!

Led by Samantha, this engaging program offers practical, research-based strategies to help parents better understand their children’s emotions and communicate more effectively.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to build stronger, more connected relationships with your child.

Workshops will include morning tea and a crèche service to support families attending.

I am currently reading a book called “Dyslexia is my Super Power…most of the time”
I find myself emotional reading the accounts of children from all of her the world and the impact the appropriate support has had on them compared to pre diagnosis is so powerful.

As many as 1 in 5 people are dyslexic. Dyslexic kids will often have challenges with reading, writing, spelling and getting thoughts down on paper.

Without a diagnosis of dyslexia kids may think they are not good at school or "dumb". But there are also incredible strengths that come with dyslexic thinking.

A dyslexia diagnosis helps parents, educators and the child to better support the challenges and nurture the strengths.
