The Purple Princess large size meditation cushion found a home today at the Treehouse Studio POP UP SHOP. Farewell! I loved working with this vintage velvet- finding a way to shape her into an object of use and of comfort. There are some cushions and bolsters still available from the recent edition and I currently work on a new collection.
A small sample is shown here.
Each object unique unto itself made by hand and with a slow sew policy - remembering to slow down and take a breath.

A person in class had been admiring the Purple Princess for some time. Made from vintage velvet (Circa 1970’s) and other discarded lush fabrics. I love watching the responses . Each purchase is one of meaning and one less textile to landfill.

Yoga A piece of peace this long weekend. Morning Classes and extended yoga sessions are being offered at the Treehouse Venus Bay .

Take a moment this holiday break to check in with yourself. Shut the door on the business of daily life and make some space for peace.

You choose
Saturday Sunday Monday and Tuesday set the tone for your day with early morning practice 8:30-9:40 each morning.

Saturday is a chance to dive deeper. This extended session incorporates pranayama ( deep breathing) a gentle Hatha session and finishing with a nourishing Yoga Nidra . Saturday will leave you relaxed calm and clear headed for the rest of your day. 8:30am-1:00pm

Sunday we will let yoga bolsters do the work.
Bolsters support you.
They hold you up so that deep layers of your body and in turn nervous system can deeply relax. 8:30-12:00.
