📣 If we fon’t talk about it, who will? 📣
Ovarian Cancer is the 5th leading cause of cancer deaths in women. It is the deadliest of all gynecological cancers. 1 in 91 women are at risk of developing Ovarian Cancer. About 21,000 women per year are diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. About 12,700 will die from it, thats approximately 35 women per day. Isn't that something worth talking about?

Ovarian cancer is often called a “silent killer” — and for good reason. It has no reliable screening test and is frequently detected too late.

New research presented at the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress highlights a powerful prevention option many women don’t know about: removing the fallopian tubes during abdominal surgeries women are already having, like hernia or gallbladder procedures.

Experts say this single step could prevent over 50% of ovarian cancers and save nearly 6,000 lives every year — without removing the ovaries or disrupting hormones.

Awareness matters. Knowledge saves lives.

Read more here: https://bit.ly/4qpbdtO — and talk to your doctor about your options.

Early detection can save lives, yet ovarian cancer often remains hidden.

Learn about three key tests that can help uncover it:

- Transvaginal Ultrasound
- CA-125 Blood Test
- Pelvic Examination

Each plays a crucial role in monitoring and diagnosing this elusive cancer.

Talk to your doctor about your risk factors and whether these tests are right for you.
