Dear Dr Bayo,
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude for the support you provided throughout our pregnancy and during the birth of our precious daughter on the 26th February, 2021.
We are thankful for the efforts you made to understand our personal situation; for supporting our desire for a VBA2C; for carefully listening to us and respecting our viewpoints, even when they differed from your own; for seeking to understand the reasoning behind our views and decisions; and for being our expert guide as we navigated our way through pregnancy/birth.
It is difficult to express how rewarding and healing it is to be supported through a natural birth, especially after two caesarean births, and with the most recent caesarean being unnecessarily traumatic. Our daughter’s birth was a potently healing experience, which ultimately allowed us to understand the power of Mother/Child intuition and energy, and to comprehend the strength that lies within the primal and sacred Mother/Child birthing ‘song’.
Dr Bayo, we believe that your genuine thoughtfulness, respectfulness and empathy; your warmth and sense of humour; your strong dedication, committed and personalised service to us as Mother, Father and Baby; and your flexible approach to obstetric practice, which expertly balances science and intuition – sets you apart from many other medical professionals. We feel fortunate to have benefitted from your support, knowledge and expertise; and we are very thankful that you have chosen to care for Mothers, Fathers and Babies in Wagga.
