SOS for Preschool aged clients

We have 1 to 2 more spots in our preschool aged SOS program. This runs for 9 weeks, every Friday morning for term 1. It will start on the 3rd of February. The session runs from 9.30am.

Whose ready to be part of our Sense Rugby team here in Wagga Wagga?!

We have a few spots for our holiday program this Thursday 19th Jan from 9am. Registrations are also open for Term 1!

We use modified rugby drills to support kids and teens develop social and team buildings skills, process sensory information, gross motor skills and have fun with other kids!

🗣 Neurodiverse communication group 🗣

What is the group about?
In this group we are going to cover differences between neurotypical and neurodiverse communication, emphasising that there is not a right or wrong way to communicate. We will also talk about people's similarities and differences and how we can navigate differences. This will include talking about changes to the environment and ways of advocating for their needs. In some of the sessions there will also be parent education. These sessions will be an opportunity for parents to learn about differences in communication styles and ways that families, teachers and therapists can support neurodiverse communication.

Who is this group for?
This group is designed for students in Years 3 to 6 who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

When is the group being held?
The group is running for 8 weeks in Term 3 on Monday afternoons. It will go from 4-5pm. 20-minutes of this will be structured time where we cover certain topics and the remaining 40-minutes will be unstructured time for the young people in the group to meet and talk to each other.
