🐤 GOOD NEWS STORY 🐤

Over the past few weeks, Pauline has been getting creative and a little messy in her weekly pottery class at North Shore Studio. Every Wednesday, she's been hard at work crafting something truly special - a flock of four charming clay chooks!

From molding and shaping to kiln-drying, painting, and glazing, Pauline has poured care and creativity into each step of the process. The result? Four beautifully handcrafted ceramic chickens — each one full of personality and pride.

We’re so proud of Pauline’s progress and can’t wait to see what she creates next! 🎨🖌️

Last week our service lead, Carrie Cox presented with interagency partners at the "lunch time educations" series run by the NSW Health Agency for Clinical Innovation.

Whilst we are very busy supporting our clients, it was a great opportunity to share our knowledge as a service in the Central West and Western NSW on the challenges many of our clients face in accessing all of the supports and therapies they require in regional and remote areas of NSW.

The Agency for Clinical Innovation is the lead agency for innovation in clinical care and whilst we did not have an easy answer or remedy, what we were able to demonstrate was that collaboration across providers and departments is one tool that we use frequently and with some success in achieving equity in service access for our clients

Claudia has been working with our vocational supports to gain work skills with the goal of achieving mainstream employment.

We have been working with Claudia on effective resumes, job applications, role playing interviews, presentation and confidence.
