We continue to deliver exceptional services for major events and we are excited to be selected to provide event medical services for this event in 2026, collaborating with City of Wagga Wagga and NRL.

We will be providing high quality medical care, with the assistance of a Doctor, Paramedic, Nurses and Medics. Ensuring the safety of players and spectators.

A great event for the region, supporting local businesses and our economy.

A sporting coup for Wagga Wagga, named as the host for the 2026 NRLW Magic Round.

All 12 teams will be in action over the weekend of 1 & 2 August 2026, with six matches to be played at Geohex Park.

Council is thrilled it was successful in its application to host the event, which will give the city the opportunity to highlight its top-class sporting infrastructure and facilities and to showcase elite level women’s sport to the region.

More than 4000 players, officials and broadcast team members will make the trip to Wagga Wagga for the events, while thousands of supporters and rugby league fans are also expected to converge on the city, delivering a major economic, sporting and tourism boost.

Between 2025 and 2027, the NRLW Magic Round is being played in a different regional location in NSW each year as part of a three-year agreement with the State Government.

We have delivered our final first aid courses as part of the City of Wagga Wagga Community Action Team program through the Spontaneous Volunteers Program with NSW Government.

We strive to make first aid training enjoyable, accessible and easy to learn. A fabulous positive of this training was the diversity, we had people from all walks of life in our community come together with a common purpose.

It presented a challenge we were willing to concur together, teaching new skills and providing practical hands on training and support to all our participants to navigate our online training desk system.

This training was a rewarding opportunity, that provided so many in our community the opportunity to learn vital life saving skills.

A big thankyou to Alex Osgood and City of Wagga Wagga for an amazing collaboration, changing lives and making a big impact.

Today, Belinda and I had a wonderful experience at Uranquinty Hall for a fee-free first aid training! It was a full day packed with valuable lifesaving skills that we can't wait to bring back to our club and community. We're so grateful to the Wagga Wagga City Council for investing in this fantastic initiative, allowing locals to gain essential skills and two free certifications.

A huge shoutout to Rory from Wagga Wagga First Aid Training for his engaging and informative delivery, sharing his professional expertise within nursing and military to help us navigate real-life situations safely. We were thrilled to be joined by members of the Country Women's Association (CWA) and the Murrumbidgee Mens Group, making it a wonderful effort.

There are still a few dates available for Wagga & Oura, so if you're interested in signing up, just do a quick Google search for "free Wagga Wagga First Aid training."
