Skin cancer checks are able to be routinely checked by the Doctor. We have a full range of equipment necessary to deal with skin cancers including freezing (cryotherapy), burning (cautery) and surgical removal. Other services include:

Estella Medical Centre is seeking a skin check assistant/ receptionist.
No experience is required; full training will be provided for the right applicant.
This is a part-time position Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 8:30AM to 5:30PM, with reasonable additional hours where required.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual who is passionate about promoting skin health and to assist our highly skilled doctors with the detection of skin cancers using our advanced technology. We are seeking a dedicated individual to meet and greet our patients and to ensure our consultations run smoothly. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our qualified skin cancer GP's and to be a part of the treatment, diagnosis, and follow-up of our patients’ care.
Your responsibilities and requirements include, but are not limited to:
• Navigating our FotoFinder machine/software.
• Assist our doctors with diagnostic biopsies.
• Greet and assist our patients with a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
• Manage appointment scheduling.
• Maintain patient results, ensure accurate documentation, and follow up.
• Be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to provide the best possible care and outcomes for our patients.
• Navigating Best Practice Software (medical software)
• Working with Microsoft Office (mainly Excel)
• Assisting our reception staff when required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a genuine passion for helping others.
