🌟 Struggling to floss? Try interdental brushes!
Sometimes flossing just doesn’t cut it or it’s awkward, uncomfortable or hard to do. That’s where tiny interdental brushes can help. They’re small, gentle and designed to clean between your teeth where toothbrushes can’t reach. Here at Dr. Mary-Anne Slater’s Dental Surgery we have both rubber and wire brushes depending on what you prefer.
✅ Interdental brushes are especially useful if you:
• Have braces or other dental work
• Have different gaps between teeth or receding gums
•Have trouble using floss (with manual dexterity issues or limited mobility)
•Have tight contact points
Overall we recommend interdental brushes over floss for all of our patients, they are easy to use pick a size that fits comfortably, slide gently between your teeth, rinse after each use, and replace when the bristles wear out.
Your smile and gums will thank you for it! 😁
