Good morning Propel Body community🔆

We have had a busy week in the studio with some new clients starting their journey and lots of full classes with plenty of energy. Our studio strong class program this week was a good strong💪🏻one and we enjoyed plenty of banter and laughs along the way too.

We have a few spots remaining for the end of the week including 2 x spots in a previously booked out studio strong class tonight. 👏🏼C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S || J O C E L Y N 👏🏼

Late last year one of our most dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated clients reached her 100 sessions milestone. We are so super proud of her and feel very privileged to see her pain and mobility improve.

Jocelyn says....

"I started Pilates was to recover from my spinal surgeries, to get some strength and balance back into my body.

Pilates has helped me so much. I have been able to return to full time work as previously I was unable to sit in a chair all day. I am back being able to lay on the lounge room floor without pain and play board games and ride on the back of hubby’s motorcycle.

If someone’s thinking about starting Pilates at Propel Body I would tell the to give it a go! Every level of fitness or non fitness is catered for and can benefited from. I was the most unfit person after years of complicated pain. I have never been so consistent with anything movement wise.

I love turning up and seeing everyone’s happy smile. I’ve got my own little community of friends at Propel. Every week on my selected class days I’m excited to see the others and have some banter and fun whilst looking after my body"

‘I’ll start once I’m a bit fitter’ 🙋🏻‍♀️ if this sentence has come out of your mouth? A huge roadblock for many women is thinking they have to be fitter before they begin Pilates. If you’ve ever met the bloke, you’ll know he’s persistent. Since opening our studio he’s been keen to get in front of the camera to show off not only his knowledge, but his interest in anatomy and dry needling.

Muscles chosen by him. Needles placed by him. Turns out he knows exactly what he’s doing - and yes, I survived. 😅

That’s what happens when trust runs in the family 🤷🏼‍♂️

The fear of walking into a Pilates studio and feeling like you don’t belong stops so many people before they even start.
You imagine everyone else knowing exactly what they’re doing, wearing the “right” clothes, moving effortlessly, while you feel stiff, unsure, and out of place, especially when exercise and movement has taken a back seat in your life. That fear alone can keep you stuck for years.

• Remember that every single person in the room was new once
• Choose a studio where small classes mean the instructor knows your name, that your right hip gets sore when you lay on it and that you are excited about your overseas trip later in the year.
• Focus on how your body feels, not how it looks. The way your body looks is the least interesting thing about you. How you feel, move and enjoy life, that's the real gold!

Looking for something to keep the kids active these school holidays?

We’re running Kids Pilates sessions on Wednesday 14th January and Wednesday 28th January - a fun, supportive way for kids to move, build strength and coordination, and try something a little different.

Session times:
• 5–8 years: 11:45am – 12:30pm
• 9–15 years: 12:45pm – 1:30pm

While the kids are moving, parents get a little time to themselves - whether that’s a quiet coffee, a quick errand, or just a breather.

💲 $18 per session
