🌸 A Heartfelt Farewell & A Beautiful Day Together 🌸

Last weekend we gathered as a team for a special outing filled with laughter, sunshine, and shared stories — all to farewell our wonderful nurse, Kazumi as she embarks on her next chapter.

Kazumis’ compassion, skill, and kindness has left a lasting mark on our practice and our patients. While we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly proud of all she has achieved and truelly honoured to have worked with such an amazing person.

Thank you Kazumi, for your dedication and care. You’ll always be part of our family here 💙 Wishing you every success and happiness in your journey ahead!

📣What is skin cancer 🧐
🔆Skin cancer is a disease that involves the growth of abnormal cells in your skin tissues. Normally, as skin cells grow old and die, new cells form to replace them. When this process doesn’t work as it should — like after exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun — cells grow more quickly. These cells may be noncancerous (benign), which don’t spread or cause harm. Or they may be cancerous. 🤔
🔆Skin cancer can spread to nearby tissue or other areas in your body if it’s not caught early.
👩🏻‍⚕️Fortunately, if skin cancer is identified and treated in early stages, most are cured. So, it’s important to talk with your GP if you think you have any changes in existing skin spots or new skin spots/lumps.
💡It is recommended you should have a head to toe skin check every 12 months. ✔️
🔎If you are looking to book your next skin check Dr Jessica Lai is a member of the Australasian Skin Cancer College and has undertaken additional postgraduate skin cancer - melanoma training by the college. Dr Lai is available every Monday afternoons and Thursday’s.
