Family Medical Centre providing quality care to the Walloon community (and surrounds) since 2005 We are proud to be part of the Walloon community since 2005.

Walloon Medical Centre patients are bulkbilled (if you have a valid medicare card), and new patients are always welcome. We will do our best to accommodate you with your preferred doctor and time, however sometimes we may be understaffed due to staff absence/sickness, but will always do our best to assist you in every way possible. Our Doctors are:

Dr Sandmalie Gunasinghe

We also have the following support services available for our patients:

Dr Veena Ramachandran
MBBS, FRQCGP - Professional Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine - Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer

Dr Veena Ramachandran is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience in Australian General Practice.

She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds professional Certificate in both Aesthetic Medicine and Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Veena began her medical career in Townsville, where she practiced for seven years before relocating to Brisbane in 2017. Since then she has been a dedicated GP in the western suburbs, known for her compassionate approach and long-term commitment to her patients

Dr Veena's area of expertise span:

- Chronic disease management
- Women's health
- Mens health
- Children's health
- Mental health
- Occupational health
- Weight management

Dr Veena also performs a wide range of minor surgical and procedural services including:

- Implanon insertion and removal
- Mirena removal
- Skin lesion excision

- Mole and Skin tag removal
- Cryotherapy for warts and Skin cancers and skin biopsies

In addition Dr Veena has a special interest in cosmetic Aesthetic medicine, where she combines medical precision with and artistic eye to help patients look and feel their best

Tonight we celebrated 20 years of walloon medical centre.

We would like to thank Dr El Ashrey for his wonderful services for the last 20 years also a thank you to Dr Janaki for 18 years and to Dr Karam and Dr Thushara who are our newest GP's.

Thank you to the wonderful reception staff who handle all the bookings and phone calls, also our wonderful nurse Alison for all the hard work she puts in.

Thank you to all the previous GP's and staff that have been apart of walloon medical centre.

Thank you to all the patients new and old that have been with the clinic and for your support.
