We’ve teamed up with Greenhouse Education, a trusted privately owned RTO to create a supportive pathway for someone in our community to begin their journey in early childhood education. We’re proud to be working alongside Greenhouse Education as our chosen training partner, helping nurture and guide the next generation of educators.

This traineeship is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and be part of a caring, connected environment where you can make a real difference in children’s lives.

🌿 Come Celebrate Nature Play Week With Us at Kindra 🌿

This week, our Wombat room embraced the beauty of the outdoors with a bush walk right in our own backyard in Wandi. 🍃✨ From collecting interesting leaves and sticks to discovering hidden treasures along the way, every step sparked curiosity and wonder.

Nature play encourages creativity, connection, and a deep appreciation for the world around us—and what better classroom than the one just outside our door? 💚

We loved seeing the children engage their senses, share their finds, and turn simple natural items into meaningful play.

Today the children took part in our third incursion with the West Coast Eagles, enjoying an exciting football clinic with Ebony. The Bandicoot and Wombat rooms have been practicing their skills such as how to hold a football, kick, scoop up and even learned some warm-down stretches.
Today’s session was extra special as we were joined by Rick the Rock, who brought plenty of energy and fun—and generously gave each child their very own Eagles t-shirt.

Meet the newest friendly face joining our Kindra family—bringing fresh energy, care, and passion to every child’s day 🌿✨

Hi, I’m Kayla, and I’m excited to be part of the Kindra team. I have over 15 years of experience across multiple roles in the childcare industry and am also a proud mum of three—two girls and one boy. I believe every child is unique and brings their own strengths, interests, and abilities. As an educator, I am passionate about supporting each child’s individual learning journey by building on their skills and encouraging their curiosity.

I value play-based learning and strive to create an environment where children feel safe to explore, discover, create, and imagine. I also recognise that each child develops at their own pace and comes from diverse backgrounds, which I respect and celebrate in my practice. Building strong relationships with families is very important to me. I enjoy working in partnership with families to understand their goals and support their children in the best possible way.

Our Kindra children stepped into the role of little librarians today with Sam and Skye from the Kwinana Library —using old keyboards and scanners to “check out” their favourite books! 💻📖

From scanning to stamping, the excitement was real as they explored how a library works through hands-on play.

Who knew borrowing books could be this much fun? 💛 Check out Darius Wells Library and Resource Centre at the City of Kwinana.

The Possums packed their sense of adventure and headed off to the park for a morning full of giggles, games, and new friendships 🌿👣

From climbing and exploring to sharing snacks under the trees, it was a beautiful reminder of how learning happens everywhere — especially in the great outdoors. The highlight? Welcoming some lovely new friends who joined in the fun and fit right into our little Possum crew 💛
