We arrived in Australia from the UK in 1990 with two small children. Soon after, we launched Vortech, an air-conditioning business with great success.
Unfortunately, in 2017, after a personal set-back and circumstances out of our control, we had no choice but to cease trading.
We then embarked on a journey of healing, self-fulfilment, growth and Holistic Wellness, which led us to where we are today. So, our vision of the EQ (EQ=Emotional Intelligence) Wellness Centre, came to be.
We met when we were teenagers, just starting out in the world. Our love and bond for each other, working together and striving for success through all the highs and lows in our lives has cemented that bond, which is even stronger today.
During our 34 years of marriage, we’ve acquired many skills and much knowledge. From owning and managing a leading Perth business to over 17 years of personal self-development work, which has led us to this new chapter in our lives.

Our Vision and Concept
Finally, after much hard work, we’ve opened our doors to the EQ Wellness Centre with the aim of “Paying it Forward”. To share our love for our centre, profession and EQ experiences with our community.
FREE of charge to all for a 6 month period.
We want to share what we’ve learned on our personal journey’s to create a space where our community, and like minded businesses can reach out and make a different in other people’s lives.
The EQ Wellness Centre
There are five areas available for use within the E.Q. Wellness Centre:
1) “Private Office and Reception” – 40m2 - (air-conditioned) suitable for private coaching and therapy sessions; business 1:1 meetings etc.
2) Recharge Wellness Room – 60m2- (air-conditioned) for smaller groups suitable for meditation, Yoga, presentations, open space.
3) “Energy open space” – 200m2 - A much larger open space for group work and presentations, men’s/women’s/Children’s circles, Yoga, meditation, breath work, Dance, Movement classes, etc. the list is endless to serve your requirements.
4) “Chill out Mez” – 60m2- A comfortable mezzanine level for relaxation, time out and chat time in between classes, located above the Energy room.
5) Fully equipped kitchen and toilet area
The Main Idea:
Our main objective is to help others in reaching their true potential.
We want to build a community, supporting one another by sharing our space to create experiences which allow us all to grow, whilst building our networks and resources in the pursuit of wellness and well-being, through EQ!
