1 day, 2 generations, 3 neighbours, 4 clients... that's a wrap on the last Monday of 2025... and it was a fantastic example of what is all about. Learning/sharing/ mentoring, engaging in sustainable and regenerative practice. Facilitating outdoor spaces and places for clients to create, innovate and personalise their gardens, those of their neighbours for the enjoyment of family and friends. My role is to facilitate opportunities to have access to a Community/ social/ active/ healthy based lifestyle. 🌱💚

This week....it rained, it was very windy and then it was gloriously sunny. A week about meeting clients needs, creating engaging spaces for them to enjoy, problem solving damaged shrubs and learning/ sharing together. Loving the creative and productive outdoor workout, progressing gorgeous garden spaces, using experience from outdoor safety management days and keeping grounded using hand tools 🌳♻️☀️

This weekend we headed out focussing on what things in nature evoke feelings, thoughts and memories. Engaging in outdoor play can have a positive impact on many areas of development including emotional regulation, confidence, sharing and learning holistically. I shared the smell of cut grass reminding me of my own school sports days and the ripple and rustle sounds of stream water under an Ash tree made think of students days in the UK. Some would say, nature is medicine, we definitely had fun chatting and being active safely outside😊🌱

Heading into end of year vibes and prepping for a hot summer. Busy week with clients. We continued with future w**d control measures, creating improved accessibility and tending to plants still producing wholesome healthy produce, green manure beds have also produced the goods and pruning ensures better fire management. A rainy day at last, it's been a while since we've got washed by rain and muddy for work. It's amazing how much long periods of sunshine, followed by a day of showers can make our environment and selves feel so alive and vibrant. A few beds around the pool are have an long awaited overhaul. 💚
