🌟 Getting to Know Tahnee! 🌟

Please join us in giving a big welcome to Tahnee Blair to the team! 👋

Tahnee is a 20-year-old second-year Occupational Therapy student who brings great energy, enthusiasm, and passion for helping others. She has already spent the past two years working as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), building valuable experience supporting people and developing her skills in the allied health space.

Outside of work and study, Tahnee loves spending time with her family and friends, especially when it involves a bit of adventure! You’ll often find her water skiing or racing go-karts, and she’s also a big fan of netball. In fact, she has just joined a new netball club this year and is excited for the season ahead. 🏐

Tahnee is looking forward to expanding her skills and gaining more experience while working with North East Coordination, and we are thrilled to have her as part of the team.

We’re excited to introduce Bailey Poliness, who has recently joined North East Coordination as a Support Worker supporting participants in Shepparton and surrounding areas.

Bailey is a friendly, reliable, and approachable support worker who is passionate about helping people build confidence, get out into the community, and work towards a more independent lifestyle.

Outside of work, Bailey enjoys fishing, camping, cooking, and going to the gym, which makes him a great companion for getting out and about and trying new activities.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to reintroduce myself as I’ve recently relocated back to the Pakenham area after spending time in Benalla building and growing my business. I’m a proud mum of three and community means everything to me — both personally and professionally.

I am an experienced Support Coordinator with a background in Community Services and I’m currently completing my Certificate IV in Individual Support. Supporting people with disability isn’t just my job — it’s something I genuinely care deeply about.

I am passionate about helping participants build independence, strengthen their capacity, and work toward meaningful goals that truly matter to them. I pride myself on being approachable, organised, and a strong advocate for participant choice and rights.

We are looking for team members who are:

✔️ Available for respite shifts, weekends, and after-school support
✔️ Willing to travel and drive between locations
✔️ Experienced in supporting children and young people
✔️ Skilled in working with complex support needs
✔️ Reliable, compassionate, and professional

Essential Requirements:

Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent

Current First Aid & CPR

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Working With Children Check

Valid Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle

Strong communication skills

As many of you know, Sam has moved back to the South-East suburbs, and sadly our beloved community hub will be closing.

Because of this, we have lots of items to give back to the community and would love for them to go to homes where they’re needed 💕

Come down, have a walk through, and take what you need.

✨ A Heartfelt Announcement ✨

After an incredible 3 years, it’s time to say goodbye to our Community Hub. This space has been filled with connection, laughter, support, and so much heart. We are beyond grateful to everyone who walked through the doors, shared their stories, volunteered their time, and helped make it such a special place in our community.

As many of you know, Sam has decided to move back to Melbourne, marking the close of this beautiful chapter. While this is a bittersweet farewell, it’s also an exciting step forward.

💙 Next Step Support Co is not going anywhere 💙
We will continue to provide disability support services in the local area, while also expanding into Melbourne’s South East suburbs. This growth brings new opportunities, new connections, and new ways to support the people and communities we care so deeply about.

✨ We’re excited to share some big news! ✨

North East Coordination is officially rebranding and will now be trading as Next Step Support Co.

While our name is changing, our values and commitment remain the same. Our dedicated North East team will continue operating as usual, providing the same trusted support you know and rely on.

As part of this next chapter, our Director Sam will also be expanding services by commencing work within a South East division, allowing us to support more people while strengthening our overall service delivery.

We’ve worked incredibly hard to get to where we are today, and this rebrand reflects growth, learning, and the next step forward. Some exciting changes are coming soon, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
