His death last week reignited the national conversation around Volunteer Assisted Dying (VAD). VAD should be accessible to everyone who wants it, but Australia is the only country in the world that does not allow Telehealth. This particularly affects people who live in regional and remote areas.

Applications for voluntary assisted dying are rising but Australia is the only nation that prevents the use of telehealth during the process
