OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Wanneroo Physiotherapy strives to assist individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve the things that are most important to them. We do so by:

Educating and empowering them to understand and manage their condition,

Using effective hands-on manual therapy to provide therapeutic symptom relief, and

Providing individualised exercise rehabilitation programs, specific to that individual’s goals.

WE ARE WELL ESTABLISHED IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Wanneroo Physiotherapy has been established as part of the local community for over 20 years, and was THE original practice in Wanneroo and surrounds. Our current practice principals Ryan Campbell and Renee Kennedy took ownership of the practice in 2014, however each has worked at the practice in excess of 10 years.

We continue to be heavily involved in our community through our associations with local community groups and sporting teams that include the Joondalup Wolves, West Perth Football Club (Women’s), and Wanneroo Amateur Football Club.

OUR PHYSIOTHERAPISTS HAVE POST-GRADUATE AND ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Ryan and Renee have each completed an additional postgraduate degree entitled “Master of Clinical Physiotherapy”, a high level clinically based qualification completed only after the physiotherapist has had extensive experience in their field. The focus of this degree is on developing clinical reasoning, a holistic bio-psychosocial approach, and bases management on the most up to date scientific evidence available. This degree has led to each holding roles in high performance sport with national sporting teams.

Our senior physiotherapists Brendan Aitkins and Leonie Harkness hold additional degrees in Sport and Exercise Science, providing them with the ability and experience in designing and implementing programs targeted at improving an individual’s general health and well-being, the prevention of chronic disease and the enhancement of sport and exercise performance.

MEET OUR TEAM

OUR PHYSIOTHERAPISTS ARE HIGHLY REGARDED

The quality of all of our physiotherapists has been recognised through their associations with high performance sporting programs such as the WA Football Commission, WA Institute of Sport (WAIS), Hockey Australia and Basketball Australia, and educational institutions such as Curtin University.

WE HAVE APPOINTMENT AVAILABILITY TO SUIT EVERYONE

Given that we have four physiotherapists, are open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm (5pm Friday), and Saturday morning from 8am to 12pm, we are usually available for same day appointments, including walk-ins. Bookings can be made over the phone or online via www.wanneroophysio.com.au. No referral is required, except in the case of Department of Veteran Affairs, motor vehicle accident or worker’s compensation cases. We gladly accept patients on Medicare CDM plans, and offer bulk billing to these patients so they have no out of pocket expense. Private health can be claimed onsite via HICAPS, all you need to do is swipe your private health card and pay the gap.
