Busy life, stiff body? Here’s something to help you move with ease again.

Life gets busy, and most of us are time-poor and running on empty — which makes it so easy for stiffness and aches to creep in.

When you’re juggling work, kids, family, home stuff and everything else life throws at you, it can feel almost impossible to prioritise your own body… even though you know you probably should.

If you're finding that you're:

• stiff when you wake up
• a bit “rusty” after sitting too long
• tight through your hips or lower back
• sore in your shoulders or neck
• not as mobile as you used to be
• wanting to move more… but short on time or motivation

Get ready to look up, legends.. Friday Night the moon is putting on its best high-vis and going full supermode.

Flick your eyes to the EAST as the moon will rise over the scarp/hills.

What’s a Supermoon?
When the full moon swings in a little too close on its orbit around Earth, we get what’s called a supermoon. Think of it as the moon’s way of leaning in and saying, “How ya goin’?”
Bigger. Brighter. Bossing the night sky like it owns the joint.

How big are we talking?
Up to 14% larger and 30% brighter than your regular full moon, so unless you’re actively trying not to see it, you won’t miss this one.

Why the name “Cold Moon”?
December’s full moon is dubbed the Cold Moon because it shows up during the Northern Hemisphere’s chilliest stretch the long, dark, frosty nights. Luckily for us, we just get the cool name without the frozen eyelashes.

So step outside at 7:57pm on Friday, take a breather, and enjoy the big shining beauty overhead.

Do you know why your body starts feeling stuck?

For most people 40+, stiffness and pain don’t come from age — they come from not moving the RIGHT way.

You don’t need a gym.

You don’t need to stretch more.

You need to understand your body and follow the right movements at the right time.

When we're starting to feel stiff and movement is getting a little more 'challenging' than it once was - the first step we need to take is RESTORE movement.

You don't need to strengthen what's already stiff - 'cos it will get strong and stiffer

You don't need to lengthen what's already long - cos it will get longer and weaker.

What we need to do is get you back to MOVING NORMALLY first and RESTORE FUNCTION.

Our Hip Freedom Reset is well and truly live and running...

So what happens when our hips get sore?

☠️ we get pain in the hip - so we start to restrict what we do
☠️ as we do less movement in the hips - they get stiffer
☠️ less range in the hips mean the soft tissue around the hips such as the hip capsule, ligaments and muscle start to shorten
☠️ with reduce use - we loose not only range in the hip, but also muscle strength
☠️ if our hips are now painful, sore to move, stiff to move, and weak - HOW DO WE MOVE?
☠️ we compensate and use muscles above or below us to help leading to pain in the lower back or knee/ ankle/ foot

Remember - we are now only using a small surface areas within our hip joint - so instead of using the WHOLE socket area of our hip - we are focusing stress and strain in that small area that has function - leading to more wear and tear.

Here's a test that tests how STABLE you are in the pelvis and hip area - do you think your hips and pelvis are good and strong?
