For any who have not received information from the TGA, there are now serious fines in place for anyone in Australia suggesting a possibly spurious cure for covid-19.

So please, deeply consider any information you receive before sharing it with others.

There is a lot of hyperbole on the internet at this time.

The best cure is always prevention.

Follow all the directives from the government. This is a non-negotiable.

Even if you’re feeling housebound, there’s nothing to say you have to remain indoors. Going outside will improve vitamin D levels and boost your mood, as will doing any form of exercise.

Reminder, there’s always weeding, at your place or to help out a friend.

While it seems that spaghetti bolognaise has become the nation’s favourite dish, I’d recommend you eat lots and lots and then lots more green and other brightly coloured vegetables and fruits, fresh wherever possible.

The natural colours in our food are where the antioxidants reside.

Add garlic, ginger, onions, chillies, thyme, sage and/or oregano to your meals frequently. Also any citrus or vinegar.

Some people do very well with fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut and miso.
Fermented foods may help improve our gut bacteria.

Those with gut problems may have adverse effects by eating fermented foods until mineral balance is restored.

Consider growing your own herb garden. Herbs not only taste fantastic, many of them have been used historically for good health.

As before, prevention always prevails.
50mg equivalent of zinc before bed. That should be one tablet.
1-2 thousand mg vit C daily.
There are also some essential mineral salts I can teach you about, that will go a long way to help you and your family in your plan to stay well.

It is always our own personal responsibility to remain safe.

Be well and stay safe.

You might be depleted in specific minerals. Your gut might be unhappy. Check yourself out in a mirror. One shoulder up? Waist not evenly balanced? You need a really good remedial massage, stretching and straightening out. You might need a mineral supplement. If this is you and you’d like some help, call or text me now on 0405944612.

So here’s the recipe.

2 slices stale bread
3 medium potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed
200gm paneer or haloumi
3 spring onions/shallots
1 tspn fennel seeds
1/2 tspn cumin seed
1 tbspn chopped fresh mint
2 tbspns chopped fresh coriander
1 tspn puréed ginger
25gms flaked almonds
1 green chilli chopped
1/2 tspn garam masala
1/2 tspn chilli powder
1/2 tspn salt
1 tbspn lemon juice
1 lge egg beaten
Ghee for frying

Dry roast the fennel and cumin in a pan until fragrant then grind to a powder.
Soak bread in water for a few minutes then squeeze out the water and crumble it into a bowl. Crumble in the cheese. Add everything else except the ghee.
Mix it all together and make any size patties or balls you like.
Heat some ghee in a pan and fry patties until golden brown each side.
Serve warm or cooled with a dollop of coriander chutney. I cheated and bought a jar of coriander chutney from my local Indian supermarket, added some Coleman’s mint sauce and lots of fresh coriander, blitzed the lot and that’s what you see in the red bowl.
The lemon’s just there cos it’s yellow and looked nice.
To be honest, if you’re like me and enjoy full flavoured food, I’d suggest doubling up on all the aromatics and even add more cheese.
This recipe was taken from an old book in my brother’s kitchen and mixed about with “healthy aloo paneer tikki” recipe from

Indian food blog with healthy breakfast, dinner, dessert and drink recipes for the busy cook

Today I’m making Paneer Tikki. It’s perfect food to share with friends on a cold, wet day. Even better, the chilli and ginger are great immune boosters for the winter season.

Remedial massage is to help you with all your aches and pains, including headaches, migraine, stress and even digestive problems.
The aim is to assist you in relief and prevention of the reoccurrence of your pain.
Massage involves rubbing, pressure, kneading, rolling and realigning the soft tissues of the body.
Varying degrees of pressure are applied, depending on the problem and client tolerance. These techniques are utilised to provide warmth, release of tension, relaxation, correction of soft tissue position and relief from pain.
This is followed by stretches to correct alignment. Further stretching and strengthening exercises for after care, as well as nutritional care may be recommended.
Depending on your condition, your work and lifestyle, how long you’ve been in pain and the severity of your problem, you may need further treatment to improve your wellbeing.
If you need help in any of these areas please contact me on 0405944612 or via messenger.
