For over 10 years, the Back In Motion Health Group has been providing Australians with physiotherapy and related services. Like most great stories the growth from humble beginnings to a budding group of hard working, devoted and caring physiotherapists rose from an unwavering vision. To offer a physiotherapy service of the highest quality with a strong philosophy of care that would seek to provide lasting results for those sick of endless quick fixes. We provide a holistic solution that enables clients to get what they want out of physiotherapy, perhaps getting back to sport, back to work, back to living, or just doing what they loved but were unable to do. By utilising the benefits of a broader range of clinical methods including clinical Pilates, massage, dry needling, and hydrotherapy and more all under the expert guidance of a physiotherapist, Back In Motion has been able to give its clients not only a great experience, but also the outcome they wanted.

Back to work? Here’s a posture reminder 💻
Perfect posture doesn’t mean sitting perfectly still all day — it’s actually about variety 🪑✨
If you’re working at a desk, keep these 3 things in mind:
👉 Change positions regularly
👉 Take regular breaks
👉 Be mindful of how you sit or stand
Small changes can make a big difference to how comfortable you feel and how well you move throughout the day 🙌
We know it’s easy to get “in the zone” 🧠 — so if movement slips your mind, try setting a timer every 30 minutes to stand up, stretch, or take a quick micro-break ⏱️🤸♀️

Pain is something we talk about a lot with our patients — and it’s not always easy to know what’s normal 🤔
A little discomfort after increasing activity or trying something new? That can be totally normal 👍
But pain that lingers, gets worse, or starts to interfere with your day-to-day life? That’s your body asking for a closer look 🚨
You know your body best. Listening to how it feels and how it responds to movement is key — especially when something doesn’t feel quite right 👂💭
As physios, our role is to help understand what’s contributing to your pain and support you to keep moving safely and confidently 💪
If you’ve got concerns or ongoing discomfort, we’re here to help and guide you 🤍

There are three key players in maintaining your balance! ⚖️
👂 Vestibular System The vestibular system is located within the inner ear and is made up of fluid-filled canals and sensory receptors. It is responsible for detecting changes in head position and movement and provides important feedback to the brain about our spatial orientation and motion.
👁️ Visual System Our eyes are powerful sensors that provide visual information to our brain about our position and the movement of our surroundings.
🦵 Proprioceptive System Embedded within our muscles, tendons, and joints is the proprioceptive system which provides feedback to the brain about the position and movement of our body. This internal sense of awareness helps us make automatic adjustments to our posture and movements, helping us maintain stability and coordination without even thinking about it.
Sometimes the communication between these systems can go awry, affecting your balance or leading to other symptoms such as headaches, dizziness or changes to your vision.
Our physiotherapists can assess and treat many issues that affect balance or guide you to the right health professional if needed.
Checking in with others is important—but don’t forget to check in with yourself too. 💛
When your body isn’t at its best, it can impact your energy, mood, and everyday life. Our team is here to help manage pain, restore movement, and keep you doing what you love.
Because when you look after yourself, you’re better able to be there for others.
