I've been jumping out of my skin wanting to announce this!!

I'm thrilled to be collaborating with my dear friend and Forest Therapy Guide, Leesa Nash Flow Forest Therapy, and we've created something very special for you, which we're launching December 12th!

Join Catherine Marty and Leesa Nash for a unique fusion of forest therapy and plant music that deepens your connection with nature through mindful exploration and sound. Catherine combines ecotherapy and plant-based sound healing, while Leesa guides sensory and creative practices grounded in nature’s rhythms — together offering a restorative experience that nurtures calm, awareness, and well-being.

This inaugural offering will take place in the hours leading up to sunset, where we can experience the beautiful Warburton Redwoods as they are bathed in golden shades of twilight. As the birds share their final calls of the day and the forest is filled with the cicada's song, we'll conclude our session as darkness falls.

The session includes:
- Slow guided sensory walk along the trail with Leesa (Forest Therapy),
- Sound healing and plant communication with Catherine (Ecotherapy & plant music),
- Closing tea ceremony amongst the trees.

This is the very first time we are opening this special collaboration to the public, so we are offering tickets at the discounted price of $60 per person. Ensure to carve out some time for you during the silly season to experience an evening of calm and restorative practices and return to the world recharged and truly rested.

It was lovely to offer a sound healing session this morning to the wonderful folk of the Upper Yarra & Valley Network organised by Michael at Yarra Ranges Council ✨️

This particular gathering was focused on wellbeing and exploring what Yarra Valley Ecoss has to offer such as learning about bike maintenance at Upcycles and a beautiful cacao ceremony with Tonantzin - Aztec Artisan Chocolate

And what a beautiful space to offer sound in the The Dreaming Space

I did a thing! 🎶

I'm one of the finalists in the Warburton Birrarung Riverfest River Rhythms songwriting competition and will be performing in the Live Music - River Rhythms Singer/Songwriter Finale next Saturday evening!

You might know me as a sound healer, but for a long time before that I was a singer-songwriter...so now, after a verrrry long pause, I'm back on the stage doing my folk thing! I'll admit that I'm slightly terrified but excited 😱😊

Come join us next Saturday 6th September 5pm - 9.30pm at the Warburton Arts Centre to enjoy the performances of all the finalists, singing our songs about the beloved Birrarung River. $5 entry, book your tickets here:

About me

After seeing as much of the world as possible, and my world view changed by volunteer projects in Thailand and Cambodia, I ventured into my next life stage as a mental health practitioner, then a family violence specialist and trainer. This work has given me the priviledge of working with incredible people from all walks of life, all of them wanting to heal, to be safe, to live their best life.

This work also took me on an unexpected journey of my own mental illness which gave me first hand experience of the daily struggle, the isolation, the fear that it will never get any better.

I shifted between psychologists, self care plans were created and then recreated, hope was lost, found and then lost again; I just couldn't find the help to find sustainable change.

Then I found TRTP - The Richards Trauma Process, and it changed everything. I experienced such incredible change that I decided to become a practitioner myself, and I can't wait to welcome you on this amazing journey with me.
