5years ago our world changed ❤️ Mum went into cardiac arrest while in bed at 4.30am, Dad did CPR and screamed for help. I used Defib on Mum, T called an ambulance and together we worked on her for the next 12 agonising minutes while we waited for the paramedics to arrive.
We saved her life ❤️
This experience had the greatest impact on me and I’ll never forget thinking, that if we could achieve what we just did, I want everyone to be able to. I want everyone to know how to do CPR. What a Defib is and how to find them and use them. How to react appropriately when under stress and faced with a traumatic situation. How we can start the Chain of Survival when people need it most.
So we started and .hearts.foundation with goal of empowering people to help eachother when they most need it ❤️

Do a course this year in CPR. Do it every year. Do it so your body and your mind are prepared for when you least expected it, for when it matters most.
