Inclusive Golf Clinic

Empower Golf Australia is back, hosting another Come and Try Golf Clinic at Wembley Golf Club!

These clinics are the perfect way to introduce people living with a disability to golf for the first time — or to reintroduce former players to the game they love after accident or illness.

Players of all abilities are welcome to join and give golf a go! Your ticket includes ball and club hire, expert tuition from one of Australia’s most respected disability golf professionals Andrew Thomas, plus the use of adaptive equipment.

The clinic runs for 2 hours, giving everyone plenty of time to relax, connect, and chat with other players.

🌟 Invisible Disabilities Week 2025 | October 19–25 🌟

Not all disabilities can be seen — but that doesn’t make them any less real. 💙

An invisible disability is a long-term impairment, health condition, or illness that isn’t immediately obvious to others. These can affect how a person thinks, feels, or moves through daily life. Conditions such as chronic pain, diabetes, autism, ADHD, depression, or neurological disorders are just a few examples.

Because these disabilities aren’t visible, people living with them often face misunderstanding, judgement, or a lack of support — even though their challenges are very real.

This week, let’s and show compassion, patience, and understanding. You never know what someone might be managing behind the scenes. 💙

Together, we can make invisible disabilities visible — by talking, listening, and including everyone.
