⭐ Feedback like this truly inspires our whole team 💙

“Professional & friendly staff but most importantly I’m getting good results from my treatment. I had hip surgery as a result of a fall and due to my age (87) recovery is a long road but I am thrilled that I am now pain free!”
- Eugenia

Supporting our clients through every stage of recovery — especially after something as significant as surgery — is a privilege we don’t take lightly. Seeing Eugenia back to living pain free is exactly why we do what we do. 💪✨

Recovery can be a journey at any age, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way with care, encouragement and expertise.

✨ Had a positive experience with us?
We’d love for you to share it in a Google review. Your story could help someone else take that first step toward better movement and health.

Late stage ACL rehab is where strength meets confidence.
And where preparation really matters.

Chris, our accredited exercise physiologist at IntegratePhysio Warner, explains what this phase is about. The knee should tolerate heavy load, absorb force, and stay controlled under fatigue. Movements now look and feel closer to real life and sport, yet technique and intent still lead every rep.

This stage is demanding. It should feel challenging. Done well, it sets you up for running, jumping, and returning to higher level activity with trust in your knee again.

A typical late stage session may include

Barbell leg deadlifts
3 to 4 sets of 5 to 8 repetitions
Performed slow and controlled to build full lower body strength

Split squats
3 to 4 sets of 4 to 6 repetitions
Push the load and rest 2 to 3 minutes between sets

Single leg lateral hops
3 to 5 sets of 4 to 6 reps each side
Develops power, stability, and confidence with change of direction

If you are approaching return to sport or higher level training and want to make sure your rehab is setting you up properly, Chris or one of our physios would be more than happy to help.

We’re so proud of our Senior Physio, Nick, who recently participated in the Ponytail Project ✂️ ⭐️ 🎗️

After growing his hair out for the past few years, he donated it to help create wigs for people experiencing hair loss due to cancer 🎗️ and also raised over a $1000 to support cancer services. An amazing effort for a truly meaningful cause! 💙

Mid stage ACL rehab is where things start to feel more like training again.
Still controlled. Still purposeful.

Chris, our accredited exercise physiologist at IntegratePhysio Warner, breaks down what this phase is really about. Strength is coming back. Confidence is improving. The knee is ready to be loaded more, yet the focus stays on quality movement and steady progress rather than rushing ahead.

This stage bridges the gap between basic movement and higher level running, jumping, and sport. The work should feel challenging, but it should still feel safe.

A typical mid stage session may include

Single leg box squats
2 to 4 sets of 6 to 10 reps each side
Builds controlled strength and knee stability

Nordic hip hinges
2 to 3 sets of 6 to 8 reps
Targets the posterior chain and helps protect the knee

Calf raises with foam roll between legs
2 to 3 sets of 12 to 20 reps
Supports lower leg strength and recovery

Banded crab walks
2 to 3 sets of 8 to 15 steps
Improves hip control and knee alignment

If you are past the early phase of ACL rehab and want to make sure your training is matched to where your knee is right now, Chris or one of our physios would be more than happy to help.

ACL rehab starts earlier than most people expect.
And it should stay simple.

Chris, our accredited exercise physiologist at IntegratePhysio Warner, explains what very early stage ACL rehab actually looks like. No complex drills. Just controlled, comfortable movements that help switch the muscles back on, keep the knee moving, and support circulation while things are still settling.

At this stage, the goal is not to push. It is to move well, stay pain free, and build a solid base for what comes next.

Here is a simple early stage breakdown you can follow
Quad sets: 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 20 repetitions
Heel slides: 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 15 repetitions
Ankle pumps: 3 to 4 sets of 20 to 30 repetitions

If you have recently had ACL surgery and want support that matches where your rehab is right now, Chris or one of our physios would be more than happy to help.
