Occupational Therapy service with a dedication to providing skilled, holistic and inclusive Occupational Therapy support to children and adults living with a disability and their families. High levels of experience working with complex physical and neurological disabilities, Home Modifications, Assistive Technology and Wheelchair and Seating Prescription. Services include:
- Complex Wheelchair and Equipment/ Assistive Technology prescription and recommendation help you at home, school or work.
- Planning and support for minor and major home modifications including bathrooms, ramps, rails and kitchens.
- Daily activities support and training including self care, dressing, cooking and life skills
- Comprehensive assessment including functional assessments, SIL and SDA assessments.
- Child and youth school support - Handwriting, Social Skills, Executive Function.
- Assistance in lifestyle and leisure activities - Assistive Technology and Capacity Building.

Our Story

We are a local allied health provider providing occupational therapy and speech pathology. We have a passion to providing quality, holistic and inclusive therapy services to children and young adults with a disability and their families. We are also connected with other local providers in the community, and will work collaboratively as a transdisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes for our clients. We have extensive experience working with children and young adults with neurological conditions including cerebral palsy and brain injuries, complex conditions such as spinal injuries, spina bifida and other complex physical conditions. We also share skills in the working with children with autism and behavioural conditions. Our OT is a specialist in complex assistive technology prescription.

Our OT interventions include: - Comprehensive functional and independent living assessment - Complex assistive technology prescription and modification including wheelchairs, complex and custom seating systems, 24 hour positioning, early intervention mobility solutions, alternative drive solutions, bathroom equipment and custom made assistive technology. - Simple to complex home modifications - Goal directed training and independent home programs - Intensive handwriting task practice interventions - Fine motor (hand) tasks, Constraint induced movement therapy(CIMT) and Bimanual Therapy - Creative ways to complete to day activities in self care (eating, dressing, self care), play and school readiness. - Creative ways and equipment to participate in leisure activities and sports - Self regulation - Attention, thinking and concentration - Tone management and upper limb splinting - Family coaching and family based interventions - Working as a multidisciplinary team to help your child achieve their goals

Our Speech interventions include:

- Communication, language development and literacy - Key word sign language - Improving and maintaining abilities in eating and drinking - Saliva and swallowing management - Assistive Technology to assist in communication - Social skills and social thinking - Speech and language rehabilitation following a neurological event - LSVT volume training for Parkinson's
