Every class tells a story - most of them invisible.

Behind every space on the floor, there’s someone rebuilding confidence after injury.
Someone learning to like themselves again.
Someone fighting anxiety, exhaustion, heartbreak, or pain - and still showing up.

Coaching and instructing might look like counting reps or calling time, but it’s far more than that.
It’s the art of reading the room - of knowing when to push, when to hold back, when to speak, and when silence does the work.

Eat enough quality protein.

Protein drives muscle growth, recovery, and satiety.
It keeps you full, powers your training, and helps your body prioritise lean tissue over fat.

💡 Most people are eating half of what they need.
Here’s your cheat sheet:
• 1.5 g/kg minimum of ideal bodyweight
• 2.0–2.2 g/kg if you lift heavy, want more muscle, or are in perimenopause/menopause
• Spread it through your day - it’s about total, not timing

Supplement if you need to, just don’t replace real food.
Then lift. Sleep. Repeat.

Who kept coming back for more (and more and more?!) last month? 👆🏼these guys did!

With upwards of 24 visits each during October, we think it’s a pretty solid effort, especially with a long weekend thrown in there! A tie at the top spot going to Judy and Mark with 36 classes each for the month - amazing 🤩

Judy has won our random draw and with that comes a special Verve bundle complete with yoga props and her choice of a piece of merch.

With only two months left for 2025, hit the run into the festive season with as many Verve visits as possible - why not mix up your classes too - a bit of Engine for aerobic capacity, Deep Stretch for mobility and Pilates for core strength…choose your own adventure and get into the gym or studio✌🏼

💭Ever caught yourself wondering what you’re actually training for?
Because let’s be honest — half the time we’re just trying to undo life.

🍕Too much food. ⚡️Too much stress. 🛏️Too little sleep.
So we train harder. Eat cleaner. Track everything.

🏋🏼‍♀️Until the thing that was meant to make us feel free ends up feeling like another cage.

Here’s the truth no one tells you:
🏃🏻Training for performance and training for longevity both sound noble - but both can become toxic if you take them too far.

Performance says: “Push harder.”
Longevity says: “Play safe.”
Neither says: “Enjoy your bloody life.”

💪🏼You can chase “optimal” so hard you forget what “good” feels like.
🥗You can eat “perfectly” and still feel terrible inside your own head.

At Verve, we’re not chasing extremes.
⚖️We’re chasing balance. 💃🏼Confidence. 🤸🏼‍♀️Energy.

She wears many hats this lady! And now she can celebrate an extra special one, as we congratulate Claire on achieving her Iyengar Yoga, Intermediate Senior Level 3 Certification🧘🏼‍♀️

This has taken countless hours of study and practice, as well as participating in a stringent exam process over three days in Sydney recently 🤸🏼‍♀️

We’re so proud of Claire’s dedication to achieving this certification - we never doubted she could do it, she’s one amazing gal 💅 Please join us in congratulating 🤍
