This month, patients aged 5 years and over can receive a ‘no cost’ influenza vaccination from hundreds of participating Western Australian community pharmacies for the month of May.

The 60 days dispensing proposal could lead to a catastrophic medication shortage crisis and raise concerns about safety, drug overdose, drug misuse, and wastages.

As it is now, there are already around 400 medication lines that are out of stock.

This proposal is a cut to healthcare and put lives at risk. Let's urge labor MPs to consider these concerns and oppose the proposal in the upcoming commonwealth budget.
