✅Register GSMC as your clinic with MyMedicare
✅Important Update on Bulk Billing Changes

From 1 November, significant government bulk billing changes will take effect across Australia.
Gladstone Street Medical Clinic (GSMC) welcomes this renewed investment in Medicare and remains committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
While GSMC will continue to operate as a private billing clinic, we’re pleased to announce that GP Chronic Condition Management Plans and their reviews will be bulk-billed from 1 November for patients who have nominated GSMC as their preferred clinic through MyMedicare.

We understand that some patients may visit other clinics from time to time, and that’s okay.
However, when it comes to your ongoing and comprehensive care, we’re proud to be your trusted team.
Registering GSMC as your regular clinic with MyMedicare enables us to bulk-bill your Chronic Condition Management Plans and reviews, helping us to support your long-term health and wellbeing.
When you choose GSMC, you can be confident you’re receiving care from a clinic that prioritises:
• A strong and continuous connection with your GP team
• Access to quality, evidence-based care proven to improve health outcomes
• Modern, well-equipped facilities
• The highest standards of IT security to protect your privacy
• Highly skilled, continuously educated GPs and Practice Nurses
• A positive, supportive culture that values both patients and staff

Your trust and well-being remain our top priority.
Thank you for continuing to support your local, family-owned practice - Gladstone Street Medical Clinic 🩺

GSMC advocates women's health every day of the year, but today marks the final day of Jean Hailes Women's Health Week!
We are passionate about supporting women's health at all stages, from painful periods and contraception through pregnancy, postpartum and menopause care, and all the health checks in between.

📸 GP and Lactation Consultant Dr Cassie Rickard celebrated her Women's Health Week with her first trip to Breastscreen, and GP Dr Louise Sterling using style to raise awareness for Women's Health.

All women have a free BreastScreen every 2 years from the age of 40, however if you have any symptoms you should come in for a medical check and additional investigations.

This World Breastfeeding Week the campaign is all about creating sustainable support systems for breastfeeding mothers. This includes support from families, communities, workplaces and the healthcare system.
Australian Breastfeeding Association is a wonderful resource if you need some support and information about breastfeeding, and we are lucky to have Dr Cassie Rickard, IBCLC, who can support you in this journey.

World Breastfeeding Week 2025 starts tomorrow and this year’s theme is, ‘Prioritise Breastfeeding: Create sustainable support systems’.

As a peer support organisation, ABA plays an important role in the Warm Chain of Support for Breastfeeding, by providing women and their families with timely and accurate information.
