Hey everyone! 👋

Just a quick introduction if you are new here...We are Sharon and Caitlin and we can’t wait to welcome you to Pure Light Yoga 💕

We are both crazy passionate about bringing you the benefits of yoga and meditation. We always aspire to practice what we preach as we know the powerful impact yoga has on our own lives.

Sharon is a qualified mental health nurse, a counsellor and personal trainer – as well as teaching yoga since 2012. She runs her own business assisting people with physical, mental health and wellbeing support. Her passion lies in creating a greater awareness of the impact that trauma, anxiety, depression and stress has on mental and physical health by providing guidance to healing and happiness through yoga.

Caitlin has been running yoga studios and teaching since 2015. She holds a Masters of Business Administration and has a background in sales and marketing. She also runs Apple Spice Cafe & Catering which operates underneath Pure Light Yoga. Caitlin’s passion lies in bringing focus and clarity to day to day life using yoga and meditation techniques.

Pure Light Yoga & Meditation Studio is an intimate safe haven to explore and practice the art, science and psychology of yoga.

New Class Updates ✨️

We've got some exciting new class updates rolling out from next week...

🧘‍♀️ A beautiful new Slow Flow class on Mondays at 6:15pm. This is gorgeously relaxed way to get your body moving and your breath flowing without too much over-exertion. Perfect for beginners, with options available for intermediate/advanced students to deepen.

🧘‍♀️ Flow & Breathe will be introduced on Thursdays at 6:15pm. Linden will bring bringing her magic with a combination of breathwork, meditation and flow. Suitable for beginners, with plenty of options to extend.

There was something extra magical about tonight's Yin session under the soft glow of the New Moon.

The wind which has been howling over the past couple of days has finally settled to a gentle breeze and the energy has shifted to a sense of clarity and softness again.

We always leave our Yin sessions with a sense of renewal and restoration. If you are feeling anxious, blocked or overwhelmed - this might just be the key 🔑

🌕 WOLF FULL MOON | YOGA RITUAL FOR TONIGHT

Tonight is the Wolf Full Moon - the first full moon of the year.

In ancient traditions, this moon symbolised returning to your own voice and a call to remember your inner rhythm.

Wolves howl not to seek approval, but to locate their pack and to say, “I’m here. I belong. I’m ready to connect.”

This full moon invites the same: a moment to ground, to listen, and to set your energy for 2026 from a place of calm power rather than hustle.

🌕 Your Ritual for Tonight
• Roll out your mat. Move slowly, intuitively.
• Choose postures that ground you - Child’s Pose, Forward Fold, Pigeon, Legs up the Wall.
• Breathe through your exhale longer than your inhale.
• Place your hands on your heart and solar plexus.
• Set your personal intention

If you feel called, light a candle, journal what you’re ready to release, and write one word you want to embody for the year ahead.

Then move, stretch, rest, and let the full moon do her work.
