Big changes are coming to aged care. From November 2025, the new Aged Care Act and from August 2025 the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards will begin, placing older people’s rights and dignity at the centre of care.

Yesterday, the Wild Health Summit: New Models of Care Reshaping the Future of Hospitals brought together some of the brightest minds in healthcare innovation.

One message stood out: the future of hospitals extends beyond the walls. From virtual wards to home-based care, digital health is transforming how and where care happens.

Our team (Mike Harman, Abe Warwick, Chris Chiofalo and Jenae Carroll) had incredible conversations with industry leaders and innovators across government, health systems, community care, and digital health. We showcased how Visionflex technology enables clinicians to deliver connected, high-quality care wherever patients are.

• The Summit spotlighted how hospitals are evolving beyond brick-and-mortar walls; integrating virtual care, home-based care, community health hubs, and more.
