I vividly remember my first Pilates class. I hated every second of it. During some impossible abdominal work I vowed never to return. But as I was walking out I annoyingly realised that I felt good. Maybe because it was over..or maybe because my spine felt more upright, if that was possible. It was intriguing and that kept me returning until one day I realised I didn’t really hate it (even though I’d much prefer to be doing Yoga). For me Pilates is like yoga’s sensible sister; the side of veggies to your Parma. I am so excited to be teaching mat Pilates again (perhaps my favourite of them all!) and would love for you to join me on Friday mornings at The Space starting this week! We’ll use all the props and flow for a speedy 45mins, getting you outta there in time to get on with your day..I promise you (maybe) won’t hate it…

- Prenatal Yoga Series -

Run over 7 Thursdays (with a break before Easter) at 6pm.

A chance for connection to your body and to your baby through gentle and supportive movement.

We will use a variety of props like bolsters, chairs and the wall to assist in movement and as a source of support. Suitable for all stages of pregnancy (I am in my 3rd trimester so we can roll around together!!).

Each 60min class will incorporate a blend of strengthening work, stretch and release, relaxation techniques, connection to self and baby, birth prep and visualisation. You can attend the whole six classes as a series or casually on a drop in basis.

You are welcome and encouraged to bring a journal or something to write on for reflection purposes throughout.

Here’s January:

Monday

6pm Vinyasa (flow)

7:30pm Hatha (slow) (just subbing this for 3 weeks on the 10th, 17th and 24th Jan)

Thursday
reformer Pilates
5:30pm (open level)
6:30pm (open level)
7:30pm (beginner level)

Hello friends, somehow it’s October? Grateful and pumped to keep the classes rolling with you at The Space. As of next week I’ll be on MONDAYS.

9:30am FLOW 🤸🏻‍♂️

11am: YOGA for Mummas and the Bubbas (or come sans baby - a very postnatal friendly class). There’s tea, there’s babies. What more could you want!

6pm FLOW (vinyasa) 🤸🏾‍♀️

ALL levels of experience welcome and in the right place. Remember class limits apply (book ) and please stay home if you’re sniffly, isolating or awaiting test results ❤️
