The festive season may be merriest time for some but for others it can also be the most saddest, stessful, loneliest and most heartbreaking time.

You may come into contact with people who are at their absolute breaking point.
Family, friends, coworkers, strangers in the grocery store, retail workers.

We are all busy but let’s not be too busy to be kind and patient with others, especially those suffering with Mental illness. Mental health doesn’t go on holidays so if you know someone is struggling this festive season, be kind, make sure they know they can talk to you and if necessary assist them to get the help they need.

What an incredible way to wrap up the year! Our Employment Support participants had an absolute blast celebrating our year with a day full of fun, learning and laughter.

A huge thank you to Brad and Justine for welcoming us onto their farm, participants loved getting hands on milking a cow, feeding the calves, driving the tractor and even going for a ride on the motorbike 🚜🐄🏍️ What an experience! Justine even whipped up some delicious milkshakes for us all to enjoy with our morning tea! 🧋

From there we headed down to the Blue Hole for some friendly beach cricket, before making our way back to the Civic Green to enjoy some delicious Peppers Pizza for lunch 🍕

To top off the day, we finished with icypoles and a fun game of tenpin bowling 🎳 The perfect way to celebrate a big year of hard work, growth and achievements.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish the year 🎉💚

A hands on program building real world skills like cooking, budgeting, communication, problem solving and personal wellbeing. Every week includes fun themes, group challenges, and practical skills you can use at home and in the community.

✨ 𝑾𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚 – 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑰𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 (𝟗𝒂𝒎–𝟑𝒑𝒎)
Explore new places, get involved, and make meaningful connections! From local attractions and events to volunteering, community engagement and social skill building, every Wednesday is a new adventure.

End the week with fun! Enjoy local outings, creative sessions, games, fitness, beach days, hidden gems, and plenty of laughs. A relaxed and supportive day focused on friendships and trying new things.

What a gorgeous morning we had with some of our ladies at our Christmas Craft morning tea. The room was filled with laughter, creativity and a lot of Christmas cheer. ☕💕

Everyone got busy creating fabulous Christmas canvas paintings, making their own hot chocolate reindeers, and decorating delicious festive cookies. We even had time to make a cute Christmas card to finish off the morning! 🎨🦌🍪💌

It was such a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit together. A big thank you to everyone who joined in and made the session so fun and festive! ❤️✨

Today our participants Paddy and Alex, along with our Support Coordinator Bridie, had an exciting opportunity to visit Coast FM to record our 360 Southwest Christmas ad!

The team had an absolute blast behind the microphone, lots of smiles, laughs, and plenty of natural talent. ⭐️

We’re so proud of Paddy and Alex for stepping out of their comfort zones and giving it their all. Keep an ear out, you might just hear their voices on the CoastFM airwaves soon!

Today our Employment Support participants had the fantastic opportunity to visit the Fitzmedia Studios for an exclusive behind the scenes tour run by owner Liam. The group found the experience incredibly interesting, informative, and inspiring, from learning how media projects come to life to seeing all the creative work that happens behind the camera.
