Kitchen Mods 😍

Client’s kitchen has been modified to include non slip flooring, increased circulation space for use with mobility aids, soft open/close cupboards and drawers due to upper limb difficulties, drawer dishwasher due to limited ability to bend, induction stove top to minimise associated risks.

Great outcome achieved.

The client chose to upgrade some items and include above disability standard requirements and these components were self funded.

Lorelle got to take home her new wheels today.

This wheelchair has been customised and set up specifically for Lorelle as she is fiercely independent and wishes to continue to self propels herself.

Lorelle had a right above knee amputation late last year and has been using a hired wheelchair ever since. We hope her new wheels brings her increased comfort, increased ease of self propelling, more independence and decreases the risks associated with poor seating set up.

A little before and after…

The client was struggling with the existing bathroom and toilet set up and it was recommended for modifications be made to encompass the toilet within the bathroom. This involved removing walls and widening doorways.

A custom made vanity was included which has under-bench space for legs when seated whilst still having drawers for storage.
