Had a stunning afternoon yesterday. We were in awe. The way nature gifted us again and again was amazing.

We spent some time in our garden, transplanting plants and also harvesting some goodies.

Went to for a drive (if you know me, you know).

Saw plenty of wildlife. Some I managed to take pictures or videos. Pelicans represent purification and transformation; nurturing and life-giving power; resurrection and renewal; generosity; unity and team work; resourcefulness and determination; protection and spiritual nourishment to name a few

We also saw a hawk that landed in front of us in the middle of the road. Vince stopped the car, we were stunned the way it landed, looked at us then flew away. We just looked at each other, then Vince started driving again. It was unreal lucky 🍀 there was no car behind us.

We went for a spin at there was a lot to see, but had to stop to take a picture of the perfect rainbow 🌈.

We thought it couldn’t get any better than this. Guess what, we saw some

We were like kids 👶 so happy 😀

Last week a few clients and friends said to me “you only live once” and they want to make the most of it.  Being in this mindset could be seen as an excuse for impulsive behavior, chasing the ultimate experience, always looking towards your next high …..

In Kinesiology, we look at the root cause of when/how did this phrase become their moto and where is it stored in their system.  Then we look to shift the perspective from “You only live once”  to “You only die once, but live every day” as this is the reality.

The latter phrase highlights that each day presents a continuous opportunity to live well and make conscious choices.  It encourages you to view each day as a fresh opportunity, rather than a single chance to “live once”.

True fulfillment comes from appreciating the present moment and finding satisfaction in everyday experiences, rather than waiting for a grand, singular event. The phrase emphasizes mindfulness and a positive mindset to appreciate life’s ongoing flow and potential.

Appreciating the present:
The saying promotes shifting focus from future worries or past regrets to embracing and finding value in the current day.

Mindfulness and gratitude:
It encourages a mindset of gratitude for the everyday and a conscious effort to find beauty and satisfaction in circumstances, however mundane they may seem.

Personal growth: Understanding that life is a journey with constant potential for self-discovery and improvement, one day at a time.

I found a tiny blue Starling egg 🐣in the garden. The shell was broken at the top where the baby bird had hatched.

To me, a broken egg symbolises:
🐣 Rebirth - the power to reinvent ourselves, shed old habits or thoughts that no longer serve us, making space for new growth and possibilities.
🐣 Renewal – the times we need to take risks and step out of our comfort zones.
🐣 Transition - change is not only natural but essential for growth.  Embracing it increases our resilience and courage.
🐣 Opportunity - every ending holds the potential for a new beginning e.g., career shift, a new relationship, a personal project, or some unexplored territory.
🐣 Fragility - life is delicate and precious. We are all vulnerable and should be more mindful of our choices.
🐣 Transformation - evolving into our best selves.
🐣 Hope - better days are ahead.  Nurture your aspirations and keep your spirits high, trusting that every setback is a steppingstone toward something beautiful.
🐣 Awakening – trusting your inner wisdom and intuition.
🐣 Discovery - being curious and exploring the changes unfolding in our lives.
🐣 Reflection - pausing to consider the profound lessons found in our experiences.
🐣 Balance – finding harmony in our lives and the equilibrium between our aspirations and responsibilities.

The colours of egg can have different meanings:
* White eggs: Purity, clarity, and new beginnings
* Brown or speckled eggs: Grounding, stability, and connection to the earth
* Blue eggs: Spiritual growth, intuition, and connection with higher realms
* Green eggs: Nature, balance, and harmony with the environment
* Multicolored eggs: A mix of energies and messages from various aspects of your life

First of all deep gratitude 🙏 to the lovely Denise Robinson for the thoughtful gift.

Shells represent home for me. I love collecting them and I can always add more to my collection 😂 to the consternation of my husband.

When shell tests up in a kinesiology session, these are some of the questions we often ask (excerpt from Nature’s Healing Chi Oracle by )

SHELL

* Is something in your life in a spiral or spiralling out of control or does something need momentum?
* What are the layers/patterns unfolding in your life?
* Do you need to shed or clear some of these layers?
* What does home mean to you? Where do you feel at home and are you currently in your comfort zone?
* Are you open or isolating, withdrawing, hiding and closing yourself off from the outside world?
* Are you trying to protect your heart by shielding yourself with a hard barrier or do you need more layers of protection?

And the affirmation is “I feel protected, comfortable and at home opening my heart to those that I love.”

Positive Self-Soothing

How beautiful is this warrior hoop that I got from . I also got gifted a peacock feather 🪶.

The warrior hoop has been woven by hand and ethically sourced from an artist in Mornington.

It is made from the following feathers:

🪶 Tawny Frog Mouth
🪶 Hawk
🪶 Boobook Owl 🦉
🪶 Harriers Hawk
🪶 Black Yellow Tail Cockatoo

These 2 pieces grace the wall of my clinic and the energy is phenomenal. I can’t wait to use them in sessions and find out what metaphysical meaning they have for my clients.

Feelings of anger, fear, shame, guilt, pain etc are common. They are sensations and vibrations, which are neither wrong, nor right, neither bad, nor good. They are simply the passions, your response to life and to being alive! Do not deny these emotions. Feel them, fully experience them, surrender to them, conquer them, and learn to find ways of releasing any feelings that are not aligned with your path.

In kinesiology we tap into your subconscious mind to find out why these emotions are triggering you now and where they are stemming from. Do these emotions even belong to you or someone else? Where are they sitting in your system, and together we clear them out using remedies that are tested up in a session. If you do not want to talk about the situations, experiences or even persons involved, you “can feel it to heal it” in a session! Remember there is no judgment in healing

I was watching a tiktok of a baby that was only a couple of weeks old. Her mother was holding her and all the sudden she started crying.

Immediately her mother said “no don’t cry” then her dad said “Aw no it’s ok.” When she kept crying her mom said “you’re too pretty to cry.”

This is almost all of our habit responses to tears. We don’t even notice it. “Stop crying” has been programmed into all of us at young ages.

We’re uncomfortable when people cry. It brings up feelings of helplessness, a desire to fix, and a belief that we must have “bad” feelings stop.

Crying is a regulator of the body. It releases sympathetic energy. It brings the body back to homeostasis. After a good cry, we always feel calmer and more at ease after. The body has gone through its natural resolution of an emotion.

But so many of us don’t let this happen. We block or repress tears. We apologize for our physiological reactions. We struggle with the vulnerability of someone crying in front of us.
