'Breastfeeding: No Filter' is the theme of our 2026 Photo Comp! 📸✨

Breastfeeding is not always easy and rarely looks like a perfect picture. This exhibition therefore aims to encapsulate the varied and raw nature of the breastfeeding relationship in the daily lives of the mother and baby. Breastfeeding happens off the cuff at any time; it may be beautiful, it may be mundane, it may be downright ridiculous and put a smile on the face of all who witness it.

Applicants are asked to submit both an A3 print (framed/mounted) and a digital version of their photo. Please visit the terms & conditions below for more information. The winners of each category (Amateur, Professional & People's Choice) will receive a brand new Samsung Tablet!

There's only 1 week left to apply for the Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre's IBCLC scholarship program! 🤱🤱🤱

Are you interested in becoming a Lactation Consultant? Do you:
- Meet IBLCE eligibility requirements as a qualified health professional?
- Live and work in South West Victoria?
- Feel committed to breastfeeding support?
- Have the means to complete IBCLC examination within 18 months of accepting this scholarship?

If you said yes to all of these, this is for you!

We have had space open up for 1 more couple in tomorrow's Newborn First Aid course! If you've been thinking of booking in, now's your chance.

If you can't make it to tomorrow's class, we have another one scheduled for 5-7pm Wednesday 22nd April 2026. These classes are perfect for parents, grandparents and carers (both current and expecting) and cover everything you need to know about potential accidents & injuries during infancy.

Did you know that our Centre is run by a volunteer committee of like-minded local parents? We would love to grow our committee to keep the WBC running seamlessly for our community's benefit!
