Oh my! This was such a treat! Imagine this…
Lamb just falling off the bone…
Scrumptious sauce and perfect mash…
Topped with feta infused with 🍋 🌶️ herbs 🌱and 🧄
I cooked 4 shanks which fit in my beautiful Firra cast iron dish (avail at TheMix Shop) perfectly. Two left over for lunch. Yum!

Marry Me Chicken - YES PLEASE!
This sauce is yummo👌🏽. The kids had it on the side and dipped their food in it. I pretty much licked my plate 😂
I added a little cornflour to thicken the sauce at the end of the cook. We used chicken thigh.
Served with roast veg 🥕🥔

Chinese Style Chicken - yum, healthy & simple
My thoughts and tips…
👉🏽FLAVOURS- they aren’t too crazy (Miss 6 loved it!) Mr 5 ate it without the sauce mixed through. Kade and I needed to add chilli🌶️
👉🏽PORTIONS - I doubled the chicken. Recipe only uses 300g. I did this step twice. The chicken is cooked using highheat 160 🙌🏻, so needs to be done in two batches(easy).
Alternatively, cut down on the veg and rice if you want less portions.
👉🏽VEGETARIAN - this would be easy to make veg. Skip the chicken step and add more veg into the varoma (may need to steam for a little longer than suggested).

💚School snacks (back to the grind 😂)
I love these chocolate carrot muffins by Louise Keats.
Healthy alternatives even though I use plain flour. I also cut a little of the carrot down and add banana, makes them more moist.
White choc chips and dutch cocoa used here too.

So this happened…

This is very delicious. 💪🏻 full of veggies and the tangy dressing brings it altogether 👏🏽
Minced my own chicken in 3 seconds too!
