✨ Sold Out (but not for long!) ✨

eeek — I’ve sold out of the magical Zea Magnesium Oil Topical Spray! 🪄

It’s my absolute favourite magnesium spray to use — not only in clinic, but also at home — and clearly, it’s a favourite for many of you too!

I use this spray anytime I start to feel tension in my muscles (for me, that’s usually around my shoulders), and it always helps things settle fast, buying me some extra time between massages!

An order has been placed with the awesome Zea crew, and it should arrive by the end of the week.

This time, I’m also ordering their Women’s PMS Support Blend — an innovative therapeutic oil blend that helps soothe and alleviate PMS discomfort. I’m really looking forward to trying it, and if it’s anything like their magnesium spray, I think it might become a new clinic favourite!

As a small business, I only place small orders — so if you’d like me to pop one aside for you, just comment below or send me a text.

Dry Needling vs Acupuncture — what’s the difference?

I get asked this one a lot (especially recently) — “Is dry needling the same as acupuncture?”

Short answer: nope — they just use the same type of needle!

🪷 Acupuncture comes from traditional Chinese medicine and focuses on balancing energy flow (Qi) through specific meridian points. It’s about restoring overall body harmony.

💪 Dry Needling, on the other hand, is a modern, science-based technique. It targets trigger points in muscles — those tight, irritable spots that can cause pain or restrict movement. By inserting a fine needle into the trigger point, we help release muscle tension, improve blood flow, and calm the nervous system.

Both have great benefits, but in clinic I will only be using dry needling as part of an integrated treatment — alongside massage, movement, and other techniques — to get muscles working and feeling better, faster.

Curious if it could help you? Just ask at your next session — I’m always happy to explain how it can fit into your treatment plan.

🌸 For the mums and dad's who can’t always get “me time”… 🌸

I was reminded today just how hard it can be for mums (and dad's) to find time to get to a massage. Between feeding babies, school runs, work, and family life — it’s not always easy to carve out an hour just for yourself.

So here’s the thing — kids are welcome here. 👶🧸

My treatment room is large enough for kids (big and small) to find a spot to sit, play, or scroll, and I’m completely fine stepping around a few toys and snacks if it means you can get your treatment.

As a mum of four myself (mostly grown and flown), I get it — sometimes self-care has to happen with little feet in tow.

If you’re comfortable with your kids in the room, then so am I. 💜

Parent's need treatment too — even if it’s not in total silence.

November’s shaping up to be a big one — and I’m so excited!

At the end of the month, I’ll be heading to Melbourne for a week of advanced hands-on training with some incredible therapists. It’s all about learning new ways to help you move better, recover faster, and get lasting results.

That means I’ll be closing the clinic Nov 25–Dec 1, and I’d love to see you before then if you’re due for a session.

Book in your pre-Melbourne massage, and let’s get your body feeling its best before I hit the study table again.

Throwback Tuesday - for those of you that have been around since we opened in February, you may remember this kafuffle of trying to get my posters to stay on the wall.......

Well, how amazeballs do they look now!!!!

Huge shoutout to the fantastic team at Warwick Framing, Photos & Gifts, they treated my beloved posters like a work of art despite the tonne of blu-tac on the back.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

At the end of November, I’ll be heading to Melbourne for five days of hands-on training and certification with the team at Melbourne Muscle Therapy.

I love their approach to bodywork, it resonates: movement-based, functional, and focused on helping people understand their body, not just get temporary relief. I’m really looking forward to deepening my skills, learning from some amazing practitioners, and connecting with like-minded therapists.

To enable this learning opportunity, the clinic will be closed from Tuesday 25 November to Monday 1 December, reopening Tuesday 2 December (don't worry this won't be your only reminder!).

If you’ve been meaning to get in for a treatment, now’s the time to book — November is filling fast and I’d love to see you before I go!

You can book online anytime via bit.ly/mmnmm or send me a message (0428 617 861) to grab a spot.

Thank you, as always, for supporting my ongoing learning journey — I can’t wait to bring back even more advanced techniques and insights to share with you all. 💜

When you start to suspect your bodyworker might also be a little bit plant crazy… 🌱

Plants and people both do better with a bit of care, attention, and the right environment.

If you’ve been putting off looking after your body, maybe this is your sign — apparently green thumbs are also good at massage! 😉

Appointments available this week – come unwind in the green zone. 🌿

💆‍♀️ Keep calm — it’s therapeutic pain!

Here’s the thing though — therapeutic pain is personal.
It shouldn’t feel like torture or suffering — it’s smart pressure, applied with purpose.

What feels like a good release for one person might feel like torture for another. Your body and brain set the limit — not your therapist, and not the last client they worked with.

When I treat, I’m constantly tuning in to your responses — through your muscles, your breath, and your words — adjusting pressure, pacing, and technique so we work right at your therapeutic pain threshold. The goal is to create change without overwhelming your system.

And remember — you should never be afraid to speak up.

There will always be some level of discomfort (sometimes a lot!), but if you’re clenching your muscles and holding your breath just to get through it, you’re not releasing tension — you’re creating more.

Therapeutic pain isn’t about how much you can tolerate.

It’s about how well your body and brain can respond.
