Cost $15, running from 12:30pm – 2pm. Meet at 12pm for lunch and then enjoy a variety of treatments – manicure, pedicure, facial and relaxation station.

Thursday 13/11/2025 - Cooking Class
Cost $15, running from 11.30am to 1.00pm. Help cook your own lunch and enjoy eating your creation! Recipe this week is Ham and Cheese Croissants and Fruit Kebabs.

Saturday 15/11/2025 – Christmas Shopping – Grand Central Toowoomba
Cost – Bring money for Christmas shopping and lunch. 9am – 2pm
Stroll the centre and enjoy the twinkling lights and Christmas decorations. Shop for that special gift. Take a much-needed break at one of the café’s for lunch.

Cooking Group: Chicken Rice Paper Rolls & Apple Slice

At today's hands-on cooking session we prepared fresh chicken rice paper rolls filled with crisp vegetables, tender chicken, and a tasty dipping sauce. We finished on a sweet note by baking a classic apple slice, perfect for afternoon tea. Check out the activities we have organised at RAWR Support Services throughout November!
Bookings are ESSENTIAL for all RAWR Activities. Please advise how many people will be attending, including if there'll be a carer/support person. For Cooking Class bookings, please inform if there are any allergies/dietary requirements so the menu can be adjusted to cater for this.
If you don't book:
- The activity/class may not have enough ingredients/materials to participate.

About

David Wallis is an accredited sign language interpreter, registered provider under the NDIS and experienced business and employment consultant.

An advocate for social inclusion, David’s passion is underpinned by his personal experience. In the early 1990s, he discovered his son was profoundly deaf and so began his journey to communicate with him through sign language. Over the decades that followed, David's passion has been the driving force behind his successful career. His experience has expanded into the disability and community sectors where he has acquired a reputation for being an employment specialist and highly skilled in the service delivery of not-for-profits.

Sign Language Services & Courses || David is an accredited sign language interpreter. He teaches regular sign language courses, provides private tutoring, delivers corporate training and offers interpretation services.

NDIS Services || David works with people with a NDIS package to provide tailored support and solutions, focused on improving community access, independence and support coordination.
