New strength block programs start this week 💪
If you were looking for a sign to start — this is it!

Our Pear Strength classes run in structured mesocycles - that means progressive programming, clear focus, and enough time to actually build strength (not just feel sore and sweaty).

You don’t need to be “fit enough” to start. You just need to start. Strength training is a powerful, protective, and one of the best investments you can make in your long-term health.

We can’t wait to see you in class 🍐

If you’re new to Pear, here’s what to expect 🍐

💫 Before your appointment, you’ll receive a text with a link to complete your paperwork online, so there’s no clip boards or forms to fill out when you arrive.

💫 When you come in, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly admin team - who will also help with any questions, bookings, or follow-up appointments.

💫 In your session, we will take the time to really get to know you - your history, your goals, and what matters most to you. We listen to you, and there is no one size fits all approach or formula, just support for every step for you.

💫 After your appointment, we provide digital resources like e-books, videos and personalised plans so you feel supported at home, not just in the studio.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the studio 🍐

💗 We’re running for breast cancer again! 💗

This is our 6th year in a row taking part in breast cancer fundraising, and it’s something that means a lot to us at Pear. Many of the women we support have been affected by breast cancer, and walking (and running) alongside them is a big part of what we do.

This year, the Pear team and community are running together- and we’d love for you to join us too! Train with us at Run Club on Tuesdays 5.30pm, and walk, jog/walk or run on the day!

Every donation helps fund counselling services, practical support like mastectomy bras and wigs, and world-leading research aimed at improving care and survival rates for women with breast cancer.

Thank you for supporting something so close to our Pear community 💗

People on the NDIS deserve access to Remedial Massage Therapy (RMT) — full stop.

For many participants, RMT isn’t a luxury. It’s essential care that supports pain management, mobility, circulation, regulation of the nervous system, and the ability to participate in daily life. It often works alongside physiotherapy, exercise physiology and other supports to help people function at their best.

Right now, access to RMT under the NDIS is inconsistent and often blocked, despite clear benefits for people living with disability. That means participants miss out on care that can reduce pain, improve movement, and support overall wellbeing.

We need policy that reflects real bodies, real needs, and real lived experience.

If you believe people on the NDIS should have fair access to Remedial Massage Therapy, please add your voice and sign this petition to Parliament 👇

Change only happens when we speak up — and this is worth speaking up for.

Please share to help this reach the people who can make a difference.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is currently consulting on reforms to the definition of an NDIS provider.

AMT is making a comprehensive submission to advocate for our profession's inclusion in the NDIS provider framework. However, personal stories from NDIS participants are the most powerful evidence for change.

Please visit AMT's campaign page for information about how to support the case for recognition of remedial massage therapists and myotherapists within the NDIS:

Feel them on the first!

We support clients through oncology treatments everyday at Pear, and want to do what we can to keep the awareness raising happening - young women get cancer too!

Checking your breasts regularly helps you know what’s normal for you - and makes it easier to notice any changes early.

How to do it:
- with an open hand, make wedges, small circles and feel across and up and down your breast. Don’t forget to feel under your armpit too!

What to look out for:
- Lumps or thickened tissue, check under your armpit too
- Changes in size, shape, or skin texture
- Ni**le changes or discharge
- Any pain or unusual sensations

Early detection saves lives ♥️

Set a reminder in your phone, tell a friend, or make it part of your monthly routine - and a big thank you to all the organisations who help advocate in this space

A space where you can move, rebuild strength, and feel like you again - with your baby right beside you.

Our Mums & Bubs classes run Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, these sessions are designed to support your body properly after birth.
And because babies don’t run on a timetable, we have our beautiful cuddle mum volunteers in every class to help keep little ones settled, so you can actually focus on your Pilates workout (and enjoy it).

Pricing 🍐
• $38 casual class
• Discounted 10 & 20 class passes available
• Private health rebates may apply

We’ve been running these classes for over 10 years, supporting thousands of mums through the early postnatal stage - and we’re proud to say we do this really, really well.

Exercise Physiology, Remedial Massage Therapy, Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Clinical Nutrition, Reformer Pilates

At Pear, we are passionate about Women's Health! Our team provide services to support pregnancy, birth, menopause, cancer, pelvic pain, injury rehabilitation and surgical rehabilitation post mastectomy & hysterectomy. We support women through every stage of life, and our team of Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Remedial Massage Therapists & Nutritionists have additional training to work with Women. We recognise that there is a lack of support for women who experience injuries, illnesses or chronic diseases such as endometriosis or abdominal separation and want to help bridge the gap between diagnoses, acute rehabilitation and long term recovery and management. We hope to break down the barriers of taboo and stigma in Womens Health, by providing specialist services from our baby friendly studio, and helping all women to use exercise as medicine to improve their health.
