What We Do

We have a great understanding of the changes in women’s bodies at all stages of life, in particular we are experts in:

~ Breast, bowel and gynaecological cancers
~ Chronic pain management
~ Endometriosis, Prolapse and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction.
~ Rehabilitation pre and post surgery / injury, injury prevention and chronic complex musculoskeletal conditions.
~ CFS/ME, hyper mobility and POTS
~ Chronic Disease Management including diabetes, neuromuscular disease, osteoporosis and falls prevention.


Our Studio

We are located on Brisbane’s Northside in Wavell Heights with plenty of easy parking (street and carpark) available, and our sister cafe Apricot Coffee next door. Our studio is quiet, private and air conditioned, with reformer pilates equipment, strength equipment, gym, private consultation and massage rooms. We are a child and family friendly studio so children, babies and partners are always welcome. Our Values

Pear’s 11th birthday has truly flown - in fact our big 10-year celebration feels like it was just yesterday (time truly does fly when you’re having fun!)

None of this would be possible without the incredible Pear team, our Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Remedial Massage Therapists & Admin Angels- a group of incredible women who have shaped who we are as a clinic today. 🍐 Their passion, compassion and knowledge has helped support so many women - including myself, and I am beyond grateful!

It’s been so touching to hear from familiar faces and new clients alike in our Pear community - your kind messages, visits, and support of our studio really mean the world. You are the reason Pear began, and the reason it continues to thrive 11 years on.

We want to make one message clear: Exercise Physiology is a clinical intervention, delivered and monitored for safety, efficiency and effectiveness every session - not just a program written for someone else to carry out. It must remain funded and accessible for all NDIS participants.

POTS stands for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.

It’s a condition that affects the way your body controls blood pressure, especially when you stand up.

Normally, your autonomic nervous system adjusts to make sure blood flows to your brain (+ other organs). But in POTS, it has trouble making that adjustment.

As a result, when someone with POTS stands up, their heart beats faster than normal, and they might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or even faint.
POTS can cause other symptoms too, like fatigue, headaches, problems with digestion.

Everyone’s experience with POTS is unique, so different supports, medications, and strategies may work in various ways.

One support that tends to help universally is exercise!

In our POTS sessions with our exercise physiologists, we will explore together salts, hydration, compression, pacing just how to start exercise (laying down 👋) we also help with progression to the gym and lifting weights that helps support you & your body!

In Australia each year, around 3,000 families experience a stillbirth or the loss of a newborn baby — and that number grows significantly when miscarriage and early pregnancy loss are included. The loss of a baby at any time changes a family forever.
By raising awareness, we can help to normalise conversations around pregnancy and baby loss, creating a safe space for families to share their stories and access the support they deserve.


Each year on October 15, people around the world light a candle to honour the memory of babies who have died. This beautiful wave of light symbolises love, connection, and remembrance — a global show of support for grieving families.

At Pear, we are passionate about Women's Health! Our team provide services to support pregnancy, birth, menopause, cancer, pelvic pain, injury rehabilitation and surgical rehabilitation post mastectomy & hysterectomy. We support women through every stage of life, and our team of Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, Remedial Massage Therapists & Nutritionists have additional training to work with Women. We recognise that there is a lack of support for women who experience injuries, illnesses or chronic diseases such as endometriosis or abdominal separation and want to help bridge the gap between diagnoses, acute rehabilitation and long term recovery and management. ​ We hope to break down the barriers of taboo and stigma in Womens Health, by providing specialist services from our baby friendly studio, and helping all women to use exercise as medicine to improve their health.
