Milmar Community Services

Milmar Community Services NDIS provider, supporting people with disabilities

06/11/2025

I've come across some information circulating within our community, and I felt it was important to clarify it for everyone. I want to reassure everyone that Milmar Community Services is not closing its doors completely. I have chosen to embark on an independent path, which means I won’t be able to be present in various locations at the same time. Additionally, many of my team members have also decided to work independently.
However, please be assured that our clients will continue to work closely with our dedicated team as we move forward.

I’ve been reflecting on the incredible relationships we’ve built over the past two years. Each story, each smile shared, has shaped not just our clients but also our team. I want to assure you that this isn’t a goodbye, but rather a restructuring that opens up new avenues for everyone involved. The staff members who have chosen to go independent are still part of our extended family, and I encourage you to continue supporting them. They are skilled people who have dedicated their time and heart to this work, and I have full confidence in their abilities.

I’m excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and the chance to create even stronger connections within our community.

Rest assured, everything else will remain unchanged. I will continue to collaborate closely with our extended teams. If you require support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Even if I’m unable to assist personally, I can certainly direct you to my amazing new independent colleagues who are ready to help.

Our Milmar Mental Health Ball was a resounding success, and I want to assure you that the 2026 event will be just as enjoyable as the one we had in 2025!

Biggest love to our favourite communities and clients. We appreciate you all 🤍

Today across Australia people are pausing to connect, reflect, and ask, 'are you OK?'.
It's been 17 years since the first R U OK?Day in 2009. That one single day of action is now a year round conversation movement thanks to you and the tens of thousands of others across the nation who share the R U OK? message and encourage more life changing conversations, not only on R U OK?Day but every day.
When you ask someone how they're really going, make time to listen and support them through difficult times you're helping us create a nation where we are all connected and protected from su***de.
You are helping us inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people they care about and lend support when they are struggling with life.
