Here are the results for the 2025 Christmas Quiz! We had 46 entries this year and there were some very clever answers, especially crossing out Spanish and writing French for question 10 (you know who you are) 🤣

Like last year, the number of correct staff answers, most correct and most incorrect are on the last page!

Don't forget!!!!

Our Colouring and Quiz competitions close at end of shift on Wednesday (4pm) to be drawn on Thursday morning!!! Make sure to bring or email your quizzes and colouring sheets in before then to be in the draw, and don't forget to have names and ages on the front of the colouring sheets (with a parental mobile on the back) and names/phones on the top of the quiz!!!

It's been both a wet week, and an absolute stinker of a week hitting a real-feel of 40C yesterday, which means one of two things: 1) we're all cranking the aircon to cool down as quickly as possible and/or 2) we are upping our water intake... or we should be.

Just because we;re in the aircon as often as possible that doesn't mean we need to drink less water. How much water? Take your body weight and divide it by 27, and that's how many litres you should be having.
For example, at 80kg, you should be drinking around 3 litres (80/27 = 2.9696.......). This doesn't account of excessive sweating or exercise, that adds on an extra litre of water per hour (of activity or excessive sweating).
Make sure you get your fluids up (thankfully for some of us, coffee and tea does count towards this figure) and find shade or a cool place as often as possible over the next few months!!!
