📣We are pleased to announce that Clin Prof Bernard Koong and Dr Tom Huang will be teaming up with ADAQ to present a one-day, Hands-on Advanced CBCT Interrogation course in Brisbane on 21 March 2026. 📣 For anyone already using CBCT in your practice or thinking of incorporating CBCT into your imaging armamentarium, this is not to be missed!

MRI TMJ ANATOMY
Anatomy is the foundation of radiologic interpretation. Without a profound knowledge of anatomy and the wide range of normal variants, it would be difficult to identify pathology.

👀If you suspect an Odontogenic Keratocyst, what radiological features should you be looking for?👀
✅Well defined corticated border which may have a scalloped appearance
✅Often unicystic
✅Larger lesions may demonstrate internal septa
✅Within body of mandible, it classically demonstrates little or no expansion relative to its size
✅Can cause tooth displacement and less likely root resorption
✅May displace or compress mandibular canal
✅MRI features classically demonstrate intermediate T1, heterogeneous high T2 signal with diffusion restriction and periperhal contrast enhancement
