What if tightness isn’t the problem…
what if it’s protection?

Last night at our Mobility Workshop, we explored something most people never get taught:

Your body isn’t working against you.
It’s working for you.

That tension you feel?
It’s often your nervous system doing its job — trying to keep you safe.

So instead of forcing it away…
we changed the approach.

✨ We slowed things down
✨ We focused on breath
✨ We worked with the body, not against it

Because real mobility doesn’t come from pushing harder…
it comes from creating safety.

When your body feels safe → it lets go
When it lets go → you move with ease

This is what nervous-system-informed mobility looks like.

Slow.
Intentional.
Effective.

Team connection done right 🙌💙

This weekend we hit the courts for a fun team event with the Young Chiropractic crew — and what better way to build connection than a little friendly competition at pickleball! 🏓

Lots of laughs, plenty of rallies, and maybe just a bit of competitive spirit 😄 ( Marie won The trophy for putting her body on the line!) But most importantly, it was about stepping away from the clinic, strengthening our team bond, and having some well-deserved fun together.

Thanks to .au for the coaching and making it so much fun for the kids and adults! We will be back!

Long weekend road trip? ✈️🚗
Before you pack the snacks and playlist, here are 3 simple things your body will THANK you for while travelling:

1️⃣ Take your own pillow
Holiday pillows = total lottery. Your pillow = proper neck support.
When you use your usual pillow:
• Your cervical spine stays in a more neutral position
• You’re less likely to wake up with headaches or a stiff neck
• You actually get deeper, better-quality sleep ( need a better pillow - give us a dm)

And better sleep = better mood + more energy for adventures.

2️⃣ Stretch + move (because we love movement 💛)
Long drives and flights mean hours of sitting. Sitting = tight hips, stiff mid-back, grumpy lower back.
Quick stretch breaks:
• Improve circulation
• Reduce muscle tightness
• Prevent that “locked up” feeling the next day

Even 2–3 minutes every couple of hours makes a difference. Your spine is designed to move — let it.

3️⃣ Stay hydrated
Travel = more coffee, salty snacks, air-con, maybe a cheeky drink or two.
Dehydration can:
• Increase muscle cramping
• Contribute to headaches
• Make joints feel stiffer

Water keeps your tissues, discs and muscles happy — and helps your energy levels stay steady.

✨ Travel smart. Move often. Sleep well. Hydrate.
Your body doesn’t need to suffer just because it’s a long weekend.
