Last nights Captain recognition dinner at Optus stadium. Celebrating everyone from both the F100 & A320 who have done an upgrade in the last year. Was a great fun night, and wonderful to be acknowledged and appreciated.

23 years on.
I was approached by a nice woman from the high school I went to about their magazine.
I forgot about the conversation we had at the start of the year, and mum messages me with this today.
Faith is a great school in the Barossa. Sets a good foundation with lots of opportunities.

Update: Hi Friends family and past clients. It's been a long time!
I was in Melbourne recently, I had an interview to go over to Qantas mainline (from QantasLink). I've already heard back with a successful result! So will be starting on international routes and aircraft sometime in the next 1-2 years.
I understand this Bentley Wellness page has been lacking in the last few years of anything relevant to health.
I started Bentley Wellness in ~ 2013 when I was about 29 years old. At that time, I'd already been flying for 11 years. I was suffering burnout, depression and had a child with developmental issues.
Subsequently I took a break from flying of 6 years. I beat depression, got fit, and started a very successful business helping others. It was some of the very best years of my life. Most importantly, I spent some very much needed time with my son.
I helped hundreds of people overcome their obstacles.
Interestingly... as I did therapy with other people, I would also be doing therapy on myself! It was a wonderful system.
In 2019 I felt I was ready to re-enter the flying industry. Since then it's been a whirlwind of success. I've enjoyed being a captain at QantasLink for some time now.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter of flying as an international pilot with an airline like Qantas that has an enviable safety record.
This is a step in my life that will tick-off a childhood dream.
Now at 41 years old, if there's something I want you to get out of this is - never give up! This took me 23 years.
I look forward to sharing the journey ahead.

Today I finished a 40 day biblical fast! In Christian circles known as the "Daniel fast"
I abstained from all solid food (only having liquids (juice, stock, water)
During Covid, I really lost my way as I did two week isolations four times . All of the gyms shut and I got Coles delivery and ate way too many croissants.😂 it's taken this long for me to get back on my feet but feel so much better for it.
If anyone wants some guidance on fasting, send a message.
